ShockTillYouDrop.com talked exclusively to I Am Legend director Francis Lawrence at the San Diego Comic-Con today. The helmer is at the convention to promote his new NBC series, "Kings," but Shock asked him about the rumor of a prequel to the hit Will Smith starrer that made $584.1 million in theaters worldwide. Not only does he confirm they are developing a prequel, but he says that Will Smith would be interested in returning!

    I am Legend is a classic indeed, the prequel almost seems unnessary but would be interesting to see how it all came to be in the first film where we only got minor flashbacks. It is infact one of Will Smith's most impressive and powerful roles and infact one of his best perfromances it would be wonderful if he would return for this film

    This should be a television mini-series, not a movie.

    Besides, haven't we seen the prequel before? It's called Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead.

    Just watch Zack Snyder's remake of DotD.

    this movie was a big disappointment...i watched this film twice,once was bad enough so went to see this on the imax and even this did not make the film any better!!!(also reason for seeing on imax was the dark knight 10 min prologue).

    will smith is one of those actors that is not very consistent in his perfomances,he'll star in a GREAT film and then the next will be a BAD one and yet it doesn't matter how bad a film is people do not criticse him for this yet others face a public pounding!!!

    will smith is a household name and probably one of the US's biggest hollywood exports....this is why!!!!
