The Dark Knight: 100 Opening Weekend Shows Already Sold Out

With only 16 days prior to its release, over 100 performances for The Dark Knight are already sold out for the film’s opening weekend. According to MovieTickets.com, almost half of total tickets sold so far are for IMAX screenings. If you’re going to see this movie, see it in IMAX.

I pre-ordered my tickets for IMAX a week ago and thankfully they still had some left for that Friday. I'm gonna have to drive an hour to get up there though.

When you consider te other Batman films thus far released, the anticipaton of this film is amazing. Batman Begins was incredible. This will probably blow the roof off the place!

No IMAX close enough to me so I'm doing the mignight showing. In my opinion that's good enough for me. I have my joker shirt ready. I have my joker keychain and I might even get green hairspray just make things fun. I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I was getting all my friends together to watch this in SF IMAX, and once I got it all sorted it out; I go to Fandango two days ago....SOLD OUT! AHHHH!!! Now im debating... Midnight showing on a normal screen. OR wait for IMAX the next day???

Then my friend had a good idea with one word: BOTH!
