An interesting film being held as a girl tries with all her might to find her beloved father whom she she never met. She travels all the way to London to find her father , where she gets to know that her father is a highly important person in the political life of England ! There she meets a boy (Oliver James) whom she fall in love with ! Although the difficulties she goes through because of the woman her father wsa going to marry and her daughter Amanda Bynes gets to know that her father really loves her ! A highly amusing film !

this movie is so cute! the plot was new and fresh at the time and wasn't as sugar coated as i thought it would be. plus Oliver James is a big enough reason to spend the time watching it!

I loved when she turned up at the Royal Fasion dress show and clarrissa say's holy poo on toast, and the way the boy's reacted. And i think the boy she falls in loved with is so hot that i want him so bad. and when Henry is back at home and he is rocking out in his leather rock'nrool pant's and the way glenice reacts "what have you done with my henry".

Daphne's dreams of her meeting her father named Henry Dashwood (Colin Firth) never known since 17 years ago in London to the daughter he never knew existed. I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!! It's certainly on my wish list and should be on everyones watch list! Colin Firth her dad is just so funny and Amanda the daughter tries so hard to get things right...it's a great time to get the family together to enjoy a good laugh.

A generic and surprising comedy. Though it's quite predictable, the story still remains good. A pleasant diversion for teenagers. This film is just excatly what a dreamy middle-school girl wants and that is quite adorable. Is it possible for an American girl to find to find love and happiness of a titled English lord? Through all the entertainment I found the answer on it. The performances of Amanda Bynes were fine and Oliver James has got the considerable charmes.
Finally, it's just an enjoyable outing! -

A 17 year old hyper girl named Daphne always wished to meet with her father. She got fed up of waiting for him to come, so she went to London to search for him there, resulting in a meeting with a cute guy. She achieved what she wanted but her father is not sure what his decision should be. A lovely comedy with a lot of reality in it!

MCT:June 2, 2008I've seen another movie with the same title years ago, and it had 3 girls, a black naked buttler and 2 horses on it. And the riding wasn't being done on the horses, if you know what i mean.

very good story of daughter and father really it is so nice movie you will like it she has not seen her father ever she wants to see her father who is millioner she goes alone to see him without telling her mother.
