I agree when you read the book you dont picture Edward loking like that or his voice sounding like that.Though the movie was KINDA like the book.Gotta give them props for that and i recomend this book&movie to EVERYONE!!!!!Watch the movie in the theaters if you dont have the money i'm pretty sure its on youtube

How can girls say this movie rocked? Are u the cursi, shitty, blondy girls who love movies of romance and get bulls of ur bf's everytime? Did u got brainwashed? GOD! GROW UP PEOPLE! U just got brainwashed, wasted money on 4 books and a movie that dont make any sence at all! PLEASE! DONT GO TO HELL CAUSE OF THIS! I saw this...and I was just almost in hell...thank God an angel saved me...it wasnt that Edward...it was...HARRY POTTER! CAUSE NOBODY WILL TAKE HIS PLACE NEVER!!! What next harry potter? The movie was awesome in its own way. And book will always be the favorite because thats the central for the movie to look appon for there ideas. i absolutely love twilight movie and book. and as far as actors they are tremendous at what they do.

Saw like the last quarter or so of it. what i saw was pretty good. not as good as the book tho. omec i swear i saw james at walmart after i watched it!!!! it was kool!!

I havnt been able to read the book. However as a movie i liked it. The story and directing was new and unique. I cant really say much more untill I read the book. Because according to sooo many people the book was amazing. I got to read it. oh! I can say on thing, What was up with the camra work? It was spinning and shaking and cutting things off. putting close ups where there shouldnt be.... I donno was that somthing I donno about or what?

. . i think it's just really normal that people who are already able to read the book will surely be dissapointed with the movie.. same goes for harry potter.. and now, twilight.. but for me, its still nice.. my friends who werent able to read the book gave the movie a two thumbs up. robert and kristen are quite a pair.. at first, edward looks really so funny and awkward with what he's doing but later in the movie, he's already so handsome.. i dunno how that can be.. anyway, i love the movie.. i just hope New Moon would be better, considering that the story in the book was quite dragging.. hola!

I have not read the books, but I know they're YA, just like the film.
For a vampire movie it was too tame. They should have made it an 18 with sex and more blood and gore.
I liked the storyline, but there wasn't any real action until the end.

I liked it but not loved it. It stayed true to the book for the most part, I really liked the baseball scene. Some scenes should have been longer while the longer scenes could have been cut down(I fell asleep for a few seconds during the intense forest talk). At times, Edward and Bella seemed too intense like they were in the world's longest staring contest. Robert Pattinson's acting did not improve from the time he was in the 4th Harry Potter. He turned Edward into a creepy emo-stalker with the personality and charm of cold soup. The supposedly serious scenes were the most hilarious.

The book was defiantly better. I honestly did not like the movie. Edward's voice sounded more girly than Bella's, wtf.

Wow. I've seen Twilight twice and can't wait to see it again. The casting, in my opinion, was perfect[[except Rob.He fits the physical describtion, but he kind of sucks as an actor]. I had my doubts, but Catherine Hardwicke and everyone in the movie really worked hard to make it good. By far, my favorite scene was the baseball scene. Ashley Greene and Kristen Stewart were amazing. The songs from the movie are still running through my mind. Can't wait to see Twilight again. Of course, I think the book was better, but I never expected the movie to top it. Anyone know any rough details about New Moon?? :] I have to agree, though, with some people. They did turn Edward into a stalker which kind of pissed me off...

Given that the book was more like a soft-core sex story for little girls, the movie certainly canot be that great
