Like most sequels these days, this one is not nearly as well done as the original, and it really doesn't bring anything new to the table. Jason Statham is still a great action star, but this one was out of his hands. It was just the lame story.

MCT:September 11, 2008This feature did have all the first installments entertainment value but with a little better physical combat sequences for the eye-a films a films after all, more Jackie Chan than BruceLee. Not that the first was really like the Bruce Lee style we love (i was just making a comparison in review of installment 1 but shouldn`t really name drop) anywayz along side a more - not the entire picture a chase scene in fear Americarno send up of that factor sometimes in there features but combined with a political public exposure protocol and a deadly but-following suit again with the first movie, yet "innovative" biological weapon of a precise catagory to attemp a mass control scenerio for the villans feld of expertiese and probably black market of a parralel nature. The siren being a confused wife and mother of a boy-target of kidnapping is a welcome contrast for his manly diverse taste withadded self control on the matter- maybe he grew a little in that way. ha.
Again a likeable satisfactory viewing of a film that was to disappoint a competitive genre for supremicy yet if a low expectancy is your thing . . -

Duh... Not as good as i expected..
How come a chauffeur become a hero?
Strange...
Well, from the story, it's SUPPOSED to be thrilling, but somehow, it's not.
The car effects sucks too, duh...
But some of the actions were quite okay, but not that good compared to the other action movies i've watched. -
MCT:September 1, 2008Awesome movie, Better than the first one I think, Awesome cars, some of the stunts are a bit unbelieveable but who cares , exceptionally hot guy and hot girl who walks around with next to nothing on for most of the movie ( how do those outfits pass for clothing I'll never know). Excellent Movie!

Extremely over the top, lots of inventive action and stunts, and a lot of fun, but with an exception here and there, the plot was nothing fresh or new. I'm still reccomending it though, as this film is a great way to spend 80 some odd minutes of time.

Después de haber contemplado la primera pense que no podía haber una continuación tan buena como lo fue su antecesora pero si la hubo y estuvo muy bien hecha.
En este filme en el que encontramos la tipica acción que se desprende del correr de autos también vemos escenas muy bien logradas con buenos efectos y con la participación de un Jason como el transportador más maduro y a la vez más impresionante. Si vale verla. -

For the most part this movie sucked. Sorry but this just wasn't a good enough sequel to the fun and fast original. The action was lame and completely unbelievable. All I have to say is the car bomb 360 scene and you should know what I mean. If you thought that was cool, shut the fuck up. It was ok at best so watch at your own risk. Hope the 3rd is much better.

definitely not as good as the first one. the dress wasn't great and some of the action was way too unrealistic. Jason Statham is awesome none the less! :)

Guilty pleasure movie. After seeing this movie, I truly believed that Jason Statham is the next Arnold or Stallone. The car-flip-mid-air-disable-bomb scene always makes me laugh.

Frank (Jason Statham) has relocated from the French Mediterranean to Miami, Florida, as a favor to a friend, Frank is driving a young boy name Jack Billings to and from school. The boy is the son of a government narcotics control policymaker.
The action all start up, when a mercenary hired by the Columbian drug cartels kidnap the kid.
Once again lots of action, car chases and martail arts combat.
Like in the previous one theres a lot of exaggeration in this movies but still pretty good. -

More cleaver action. I don't know if these people really exist but it's kinda nice to think there are those highly skilled killers out there working for the good guys.
Makes a great film though. -
MCT:April 28, 2008There are movies taking place in our world that still have nothing to do with realism or how things work and people (re)act. This is one of those movies. Sometimes, such films work out just fine, because they don't take themselves too seriously or have something special about them. Transporter 2 is not without humor, but is trying way too hard to be cool. The hand to hand fights are rather fun to look at, some of them remind of Jackie Chan's work. But the car action is so hopelessly over the top that I was really shaking my head a few times. The villains and basically all characters are just as silly. Sure, the result is still really fast and somewhat entertaining, but also sooo damn stupid.

weaker than the first..seemd a bit too slick and less realistic..still has some great action, some funny moments and overall still entertains..just suspend your belief and experience ...

HEY GUYS GOT A QUESTION WHAT WAS THE NAME OF THE CAR THAT HE WAS DRIVING AT THE END OF THE FILM THE ONE HE BLEW UP. THAT WAS THE BEST CAR I HAVE EVER SEEN LOVE IT.

Being a lover of the original movie I was really looking forward to the sequel and more adventures of the erstwhile Transporter (Jason Statham). Well I guess that set me up for more of a disappointment as I feel the director, writers and Statham himself had the need to out do the first movie. And in an attempt to set the they pushed the bar way too far and out into the next room. As there is a fine line between over-the-top plausible and over-the-top ridiculous and unfortunately this movie falls mainly in the latter category
