Adapté d'une nouvelle de Philip K. Dick, ce film mettant en vedette un Arnold au sommet de sa gloire est à la fois ridicule et profondément distrayant. Débordant de scènes d'actions violentes et de "one-liners" risibles comme seul Arnold sait les livrer, il assure au spectateur de passer un bon moment s'il veut bien accepter d'en prendre et d'en laisser.
Je me suis amusé tout le long et c'est visiblement le cas du réalisateur qui se complaît dans un esthétisme futuriste "over-the-top" qui ne manque pas de faire sourire. Une mutante à trois seins, une espèce de foetus dégoulinant aux pouvoirs psychiques avancés et une prostituée naine ne sont qu'un petit échantillon de la multitude de personnages à la fois hideux et loufoques qui peuplent l'univers du film. Ça déborde de partout, mais ciel que c'est divertissant. -

A good all around movie. Fun concept, and a really interesting and unique view of our future. It is an Arnold movie, so it is a bit heavy on the blockbuster-ness. Packed with explosions and sexual imagery, this will feed your jonesing action movie monkey. If you're looking for a good piece of scifi, its got a great world!

Total Recall wasn't as good as the Terminator Movies, but it still had good moments and lots of action.
