A ship hits an Ice-Berg and sinks! A Love Story! Stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet!
This is a really cool movie, but it takes 4eva to get to the ship sinking. It has a really cool plot and a sad ending!
it's okay it goes on a bit too much but you can't turn it off no matter how many times you have seen it.

I Think The Titanic Movie Was Very Good Especially The Actors Leonardo Dicaprio And Kate Winslet They Were Very Good As Rose And Jack I Think Jack Was The Cutest.
هذا الفيلم اتمني لو ان مصر تصنع فيلم مثله
Viewed it on the big screen and i was suppossed to be sleeping coz this is not the movie i wanted to watch but the movie caught my interests so much...
Nothing on Earth could come between them, the two lovers whose fate would be changed by a remarkable event. We've all heard of one cruise ship called the Titanic being "the ship of dreams", as what the elderly Rose quoted at the beginning. We've also heard of its sinking. And we also heard of this movie, too, that's straight from the Flixster Top 50. Sure there are many similar "Titanic" films out there like the 1996 TV miniseries that I actually watched before the real theatrical one came out, but this version's way better than the rest. What can I say about "Titanic"? IT'S THE BEST MOVIE EVER....in the genres of man-made disaster, drama, romance, and the box-office blockbuster.
Our journey starts in the present day with the exploration of the ship's watery grave under the sea. The elderly Rose takes us back with her flashback story to 1912 as the Titanic leaves Southampton, England, on her maiden voyage. Young Rose DeWitt Bukater, stuck under the rigid confines of the first-class Edwardian society, falls for the free-spirited steerage passenger Jack Dawson, who won his ticket on a poker game. By the night of April 14, the Titanic is struck by an iceberg; the lovers' fates are destined for doom into the icy waters of the Atlantic. Here I'm amazed by the forbidden Jack/Rose romance: Rose posing nude for a sketch portrait is definitely the top love highlight of all. More importantly is the event itself - I saw so much panic among the crowds who were awaiting for their rescue. While there were 700+ survivors, more than 1500 died because there were not enough lifeboats on board. How sad! I felt saddened with the third-class passengers especially since they were immigrants hoping for better life in America. And the designers said the Titanic was unsinkable when it actually wasn't - human error is definitely another cause of the disaster! The digital special effects (SFX) of the ship and its interior - and its oceanic background, too - look very real to me, and I liked it very much.
"Titanic" was directed by James Cameron (of "The Terminator" fame) and features the finest acting performances from the following cast members:
1.) Leonardo DiCaprio (Jack Dawson)
2.) Kate Winslet (Rose DeWitt Bukater)
3.) Billy Zane (Caledon "Cal" Hockley)
4.) Frances Fisher (Ruth DeWitt Bukater)
5.) Kathy Bates (Molly Brown)
6.) Gloria Stuart (Old Rose)
7.) Bill Paxton (Brock Lovett)
8.) Bernard Hill (Captain Smith)
9.) Victor Garber (Thomas Andrews)
10.) Jonathan Hyde (Bruce Ismay)
11.) David Warner (Spicer Lovejoy)
12.) Danny Nucci (Fabrizio)
13.) Suzy Amis (Lizzy Calvert)
Interestingly, I may have spotted Ioan Gruffudd as a crew officer on one of the lifeboats. The background instrumental music is so heartwarming and beautiful during the peaceful scenes and very strong during the sinking scenes, even with the Celine Dion #1 hit "My Heart Will Go On" rolling in at the end credits. Of every piece that the ship's orchestra played as the Titanic went down, "Nearer My God To Thee" is indeed very mournful as it suited with the passengers' low spirits on an event like this. As for the film's spoken dialogue, it is definitely excellent - I liked how Jack yells "I'm the king of the world!" when he's at the front bow. Good one, Leo!
The moment "Titanic" came out of theaters on December 19, 1997, I had no idea how great the box office records would be during the next several months due to the crowd of teenage girls packing the theater seats for DiCaprio. It grossed more than $600 million domestically, and that's more than any of the six "Star Wars" movies in the $300-400 million mark. More importantly, the film scored 11 Academy Awards, including one for Best Picture. After a decade of its release, I guess "Titanic" is still a '90s film classic of all time, which is the main reason why I'm highly recommending it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet. You'll never forget the fateful night when one ship would sink but would begin the new life of entertainment based on it.
James Cameron's worst movie also happens to be the one he gets the most praise for. If you can look beyond Titanic's weak script, poor acting and insipid love story. Then yeah this movie is for you.
I don't like Leonardo de Caprio nor Kate Winslet in this, but Bernard Hill, who played the captain was pretty good. I thought the movie was overrated mushy crap!
NOTHING, AND I MEAN NOTHING JAMES CAMERON DIRECTS IS A BAD MOVIE IN MY BOOK, HE IS MY FAVE DIRECTOR AND THIS MOVIE WAS BRILLIANT!!! I THINK WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT THE MOST WAS HOW IT SHOWED HOW CRUEL PEOPLE ARE IN GENERAL, WHEN THE SHIP WAS SINKING AND THE RICH PEOPLE WERE GETTING ON THE SAFETY BOATS AND MAKING THE POOR PEOPLE STAY IN THERE ROOMS, PLUS ROSE WAS PRETTY HOT
It's alright, it's not the best movie in the world but it's a true movie that's partly why i like it.
This is pretty much my favorite movie and has been for years. It's just so good. I mean the sinking is really well done. It always makes me so sad.
Biggest selling movie, maybe that why it took me four years to see it, was better than I thought it would be I suppose
fue la pelicula mnas hermosa que he visto en mi vida es una historia de amor que rompe las barreras y por amor hacen muchas cosas eso es lo bonito de todo esto y por eso es una de las mejores peliculas de la historia
The best part was the old lady throwing the diamond overboard at the end of the film!!!!! SO F****N FUNNY!!!!!
Classic! Its no doubt it is one of the best stories ever told. Lovely and endearing although the ending was awful, it brought an intense and mixed emotions. Watching this film all over again wouldn't change any sensation.
Enchanting, Titanic is a big-budget spectacle that does so many things right I'm struggling with where to begin. I guess I'll start by saying that it works very well as a period piece. And it's ability to seamlessly move between the present and back is fantastic. The epic tragedy flows so well that it's hard to even tell it's a heartbreaking story (even though you know the ship sinks!) until the very end. Also, to cast DiCaprio and Winslet before they were stars, based primarily on chemistry is remarkable. Besides the occasional schmaltz the romance here feels fresh, grand and classy. And the last hour, the actual sinking, is so huge and well done (the visuals are amazing), Titantic single-handedly demonstrated to Hollywood that a $300M+ movie could turn a profit. Some criticize me for being a softy; they say this was a sprawling mess. Their loss as this was one of the best movies of the 1990s and shouldn't be missed.
la mejor pelicula en lo que la realidad
nos ha marcado a nivel mundial
ylka diferencia de clase
para el amor no existe
Oh my Edward!!!! This is one hell of a movie...Di Caprio and Winslet did great...one of the most unforgettable and amazing stories and movies of all time!!!!
I realize it's sentimental dreck. Completely manipulative; but the movie is shot so beautifully. My favorite part is when the musicians play on, brings me to tears every time.
Ashamedly...I was one of those "multiple multi-plexers". I'm over that obsession now, but it's still a good movie.
