it's a good movie but i don't think it's one that i could listen often, not really my kind not enough jokes, action, too much reality for me,I like to watch imaginative movies, but that one is still good to show the life of some people...

since i was high the whole time i watched this shit i thought it was completely fucking hillarious. supposedly, it's about these two bf4evr that are liek SOoOoOo krazy liek they do stuff like drinking beer and smoking pot and cutting themselves and liek making out with guys and shit and practising their kissing on each other and idiotic things like that and theyr liek only thirteen OMG!!! well, i agree that that behaviour does tend to appear a little bit later in human life, so i kindof understood the shock value of the stupid film... UNTIL i fucking watched it... they should've picked girls that ACTUALLY looked moar like 13 yearolds goddammit. THAT way it would have had SOME shock value... it would have still sucked, but with shock value.

This movie was ridiculously crazy, but it was good. I wasn't too much older than 13 when I watched it and I was absolutely shocked at how these kids were acting, and I asked around, apparently it isn't unheard of for kids to behave this way. It's definately entertaining even if it is semi true to life, I would absolutely watch it again, but I wouldn't consider it to be one of the greats!

One of my favorite films and some of the best preformances that I've seen. Evan Rachel Wood is a dream. Holly Hunter was perfect.

Cathrine Hardwicke is not afraid to push the envelope of taste in this gritty teen drama where two loose 13-year-old girls go on the town and have sex, tell lies, and betray each other, in a dysfunctional dystopian version of LA. At times it's too accurate and therefore depressing. The druggie mother who gets the bad facelift was just, yuck. The jerky girl who is obviously evil to everyone byut the used girl was so nasty it just was, nauseating. The performanmces were good, but sometimes the situations were so grim that it seemed bordering on ridiculous, but not at all in a fun or charming way. Do not see this if you're looking for anything cheerful.

Nothing new here, but it's packaged well enough and seemed more authentic than most troubled teen dramas ... elevated by the performances of Holly Hunter and Deborah Kara Unger.

Awesome movie, but it's still really confusing and very vague. You have to pay close attention to get the full effect.

Great touching story, full of moral. Evan's best performance to date. Could watch it over and over again and still cry in the end

Really a well-done, well-acted movie. Evan Rachel Wood is great as always, and to think that Nikki Reed didn't just start in but also co-wrote the movie is amazing considering her age at the time. Even so, I don't know that I could stomach watching it again. It was such a real, gritty, uncomfortable look at the way so many teenage girls actually are that it was hard to take.

These young ladies actually did a very good job. Realistic enough story to concern the parents of any young teen.
Take care of yourselves I say.

Snapped and stabbed evry girl who wants to be jocks . The acting just nice and enjoyable .But , the most annoying one is the 'shaky-dizzy' camera and the lights ,just very amateur and it's very easy to be expired because of it's setting .

Harrowing portrait of teenage life that's a nightmare for any parent with a daughter entering adolescence.
