If you liked Cast Away, you'll probably like this. Yet again, Tom Hanks spends quite a bit of screen time doing his own thing, only this time, he's stuck in an American airport where he doesn't speak the language. A little sad, a little funny, and with an acceptably ending, I really enjoyed this movie.

Tom Hanks, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Steven Spielberg, one amazing film. A simple plot, a simple scenery, simple people, yet so many things said.
"The Terminal" is not only about things in an airport. It's life. It's somebody who has been waiting to return to his home far far away... Somebody who has been waiting for a "yes" from his love... Somebody who has been waiting to have a true love.... Somebody who has been waiting to fulfill his father's dream... Because life is waiting...
I strongly recommend this film to everyone, `cause through this, maybe you'll find what is missing in your life. And never forget the casting and the director, it's worth every minute watching. -

A much more entertaining film than it?s synopsis suggests, slow starting which allows for great character building, certainly a unique story, despite fears early on in the film that Tom Hanks' accent would not be particularly convincing and yet in no time at all, it all fits together well.
This film is unlikely to be to everyone?s taste, but in my opinion it?s certainly amongst my favorites of Tom Hanks films. -
MCT:November 13, 2008This movie is a great movie. Kind of long but good. This guy gets stuck without a country for a long while. I think it was something like 9 months. He couldn't go back home, he couldn't step foot on USA land. If he did he'd be arrested. So he creatively finds ways to keep himself occupied and working making money inside the airport terminal. He had a very special reason for coming to America from an Eastern European Country. Great great movie.

i HATED this movie so bad! I hated that no one let him know he could leave! it pissed me off..and I couldnt even watch the rest of the movie cuz It made me so mad!

The Terminal was great. I just loved it. It was a really good movie. I thought it was hilarious how he collected quarters from returning carts!! That was cute.
And I loved how ....he just made it home there.
