Simply put, I really dig this film.
The low key manner in which the themes of the film are tackled is so effective and it's a really beautiful story to follow.
Peter Dinklage is on top form here as Finn. Making a concious decision to isolate himself from the world only to find himself drawn into the damaged lives of the locals, its a great tale. The rest of the cast are equally affecting.
It's a shame that this won't be seen by many people, it's a touching and soulful piece of work that is deserving of a larger audience. -
MCT:November 20, 2008boring, this really made me realize that midgets should only reside in the mall at xmas because they cannot act. i is boring and i get ill when i see them kiss average sized people. this movie was slow and it was quite boring to me.

Love this movie. You get to see what it's like to be a dwarf. It's gotta be challenging. I think all of us that aren't "vertically challenged" take for granted that we can walk down the street without feeling out of place and left out. Great film

MCT:September 29, 2008Watching the film I thought it was quite interesting to see the interactions between certain characters and it did make me chuckle a few times, but upon revisiting the film mentally. I felt that it was missing something that I can't quite put my finger on.
