i found this an extrememly interesting behind the scenes featurette. I had seen the matrix but hadn't liked it all that much originally but after seeing this i wanted to see the movie again
If you the viewing public like this sort of thing then most definately go out and buy it. I for one feel that the producers and whomever are milking the franchise and the fans of this trilogy for every last penny they can before the abandon The Matrix completely.
Interesting documentary in film making of The Matrix with training martial arts and high-jumping sequences. The behind the scenes look at how the actors did what they did on the screen.
1 was great watched over and over, 2 just take the piss, way to surreal, the only reason i would of watched this was to find out what it was all about, lucky me my m8 told me saved me the 3 hours....
This is probably the worst film made yet on a big budget. The idea behind the original was greatish, and for such an early effort, it was also, if very adolescent. This hideous "Joel Silver" machine drudges the depths of artificial filmmaking, and there is little that is legal that is a more total waste of life.
From here on out, the story went downhill. I actually fell aslepp to the last one in this trilogy, and it's because of the loss of focus. Everything is so grand, so sad and you don't really connect to anything. Even saying that, I can't battle my emotions of saying that the actors and actresses didn't do a good job, cause they really did. If you like Matrix, then you're gonna like this film.
The coolest thing in it, is definetly the french-swearing englishman and the white twins, so there it is for ya. Go watch it ;)
It would have been better if it was just part of the special features on one of the movies, but as is its just another way to cash in on the franchise.
Best sequence in this film (joint)
1. the interstate chase with trinity on a kick-ass motorbike
2. the ghosts and other character SFX
what most definately did NOT work was the zion rave.
Still, this remains the weaker middle section of a fantastic movie trilogy.
A documentary on the making of the first Matrix film. This is the answer to all your Matrix related questions... well, non-philosophically speaking anyway. This is the how's, why's, and where's of the first Matrix film.
this movie was so weird because it was like a movie collage about how the first movie would lead to the second and then it would explain like if a normal human were to join the martix and it was just a random person and ppl. the 3D graphics were awesome and all the 2d animated stuff was awesom...raw japanese animation at it's best!
Come on. This should have been the second disc of The Matrix DVD. I watched it. I was glad I didn't pay full price to do so. This is a special features menu, not a movie.
A behind the scenes look at the first Matrix, this pulled the curtain back a bit and showed us how cool stuff like bullet time photography was done. Essential if you wanna know anymore about the film.
