MCT:October 28, 2008There's just something about this film I didn't like. Probably the adult characters, the sense of foreboding and the ice storm itself. Ang Lee surely is a master of cinema; he can do middle America, westerns, martial arts, Jane Austen and comic book films. This is a superb film, I just didn't like it.

Another movie with blatant metaphors and another Ang Lee film with an overrated ending. Molecules, molecules, molecules, Fantastic Four, foreboding storm.... you get it. However, the mood accompanying the nature was constantly interesting. And the characters were fantastic (No pun intended) with all their marital mishaps n stuff. "The Ice Storm" is thought-provoking while experiencing but not after the movie ends.

MCT:September 30, 2008wow i have just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a powerful movie 2 watch....its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie...i think that this is 1 of tobey maguires (who now plays spiderman's best movies hes ever made)....this is a good powerful drama movie 2 watch..its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie...its really enjoyable throughout this movie..i think that the director of this movie had done a good job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie
