Woody's Marx Brothers' shower.Upcoming features like Bananas and Interiors would show a variety of game shows and mind blowing critiques. The early comedy of that beloved shorty is compiled of loony characters, dedication to overexert humor,oh,and a responsive figure in the likes of an "atheist",hoping to become a criminal mastermind..Pure fun.
As with Steve Martin, Woody Allen's early films are his purest in comedic terms. This may be his least cinematic, least pretentious film--and one of his best for those of us who consider him a humorist first and foremost.
Histerically funny. Woody was developing a career in cinema and this one is a good film full of great gags in a mockumentary style.
Exactly what you expect in the typical Woody Allen film. Funny story, mediocre acting and stale ending, especially after such an endearing beginning/middle.
Great early Woody film..laugh out loud..silly...funny stuff...enjoyable for any fan of the 'funny' side of Woody...
