Let down by the plot mainly. It's predictable, yes but it has some pretty sauve moves and the Banderas charm adds to the good-feel factor of the movie

Antonio Banderas looking for a career revival. That's all there is.

Oh, and you could also say that its a big rip-off of Dirty Dancing, Saturday Night Live, and every dance movies out there.

A wonderful inspirational movie with superbly choreographed dance sequences. Banderas looks and moves beautifully.

A classical dance instructor Pierre Dulaine (Antonio Banderas) is led to the basement where the students have earned detention for the remainder of the year to teach them classical dance to convince them to keep the dance program going to make their way to the dance competition.

I didn't quite get WHY the guy wanted to help. What was his motivation? The ending was pretty sit-com. This story has clearly been hollywood-ized.

This was a cute movie, but ballroom dancing is hard to do; there is nothing sissy about it.

    Take care all,
