Plot:
Why are Americans so fat? Two words: fast food. What would happen if you ate nothing but fast food for an entire month? Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock does just that and embarks on the most perilous journe...( read more

The "test subject" of this film isn't the most charismatic guy in movies, but he makes up for it with many interesting fact segments about why we eat so poorly. It certainly did freak me out about fast food.
After watching this, my dumbass boyfriend at the time said "Let's go get some McDonalds!" Are you kidding me?! WTF is wrong with you?! I, on the other hand, have not eaten it once since.
AWESOMIO!!!!!!!!!! Probably one of the best documentarys every made!!!!!!!!!!! Go see it NOW!!! Too bad it almost got an academy award it lost to a film about children having parents as prositutes... 4 1/2 Mickey D's outta 5!
I saw this in my psychology class. pretty gross at times. moral of the story: everything in moderation. so, who wants to get some mcdonald's? ;)
Fun entertaining, highly interesting about a nation that think that the best is made with the biggest, Spurlock has certainly made a nice documentary that put further reflection on importance of eating well and taking care of ourself.
Morgan Spurlock put his life on the line (Isn't that nice? xD) just so people can see how dangerous tampering with junk food can be. And see, it's even called 'Junk' food, we should've got that earlier... it's scary to think what would have happend if he had gone for just a while longer. and died. To imagine that as a bystander is bad enough, but think of what it would be if you felt you were falling into that situation? Obviously this movie is a little dramatic, and it doesn't mean we should drop our burgers, burn our milk shakes, and bury our fries. It just goes to show you that portions are all that matters.
Maybe not ban the fast food chain but this movie shows what happens to people who eat fast food to often. Myself i hardly ever eat fast food at all. Maybe once or twice a month at a maximum but never anymore than that.
BAN ALL FAST FOOD (and ofcourse Mcdonalds and burger king)!!!
Spurlock has definately done his reasearch when it comes to Maccas, there is no stone he leaves unturned and no avenue unexplored. I was shamefully in a McDonalds last week and they had a banner up sayin "Have you seen 'that' movie? We use nothing but the finest quality ingredients to ensure that you get the best tasting blah blah blah blah" And now theyve had the nerve to put up a website, makeupyourownmind.com.au (thats the aussie one) and an ad on telly protesting that all their ingredients are not tampered with. They are shit liars. Bravo to Morgan for litteraly putting his life on the line to prove once and for all what we all knew but the companies deinied...McDonalds....is very.....very....bad for you!!! In ANY amount. Its just basically tasty plastic and cow rectums. But Spurlock explains it better, watch this and think skinny.
Justins Best Bit: Maccas ditched their super size option after this film was released, they denied their descision had anything to do with the movie.
