Well, it's not really as scary as the theme would imply, but the story is quite alright. About a girl who was raped, killed and burried in a small neighbourhood house. She starts communicating with the new owners in order to find her eternal peace

MCT:November 13, 2008I have a soft spot for Kevin Bacon, so I give it 3 stars. It starts out interesting with the hypnosis thing, then by the end of the film it is just another "ghost trying to tell you who killed it" story.

By the end of the first scene I was bored stiff.
As far as I could see, the connection between the dead girl and the man was poor, if even there, and random characters who weren't necessary to the plot kept appearing.
Didn't understand the scene where the guy shot everyone, but that could have been because that was pretty much the only scene I watched without talking.
There were no jumps, no scares, no tension and no RELEVANCE to any of it. Plus, poor acting.
I'm never going to be hypnotised and start seeing dead people underneath someone's house, feel the need to demolish their house and then fabricate a story behind it, so why should I be scared of it? -
MCT:November 2, 2008I really liked this film. It wasn't a film all about scaring the watcher or have as much blood and guts as possible. The way the girl died was horrible. I will have to watch it again because i liked it and because i missed most of it because the people i were with were talking!
I thought it was good, the 5 people i were with would differ for reasons i don't know!
