Again, here is another film I would not have preferred if I would have first watched it today, but I did watch it when I was younger, and I don't know why. It was stupid and not scary at all.

This is the only movie I have ever seen that truly scared me. I saw it when I was little and I'm 20 now and it still freaks me out.

I hate, hate clowns. I didn't know Seth Green was in this movie? What was he - like 2?

I saw this movie about 15 years ago. Haven't watched it again for the fact that clowns are like scary to me.

This is a made-for-TV movie that is so bad it's kinda great. Scary when you're under 10 years old, preposterous when you're over 18. "Let's leave the corpse in the hotel room!" the adults decide as they flee the hotel; the pony-tailed writer passionately kisses a childhood friend he hasn't seen in decades, though he's married. And the clown is really a big, crab-like spider, who has "deadlights," we learn late in the movie. Huh? Mike, the "black friend," who has a two-story town home with a backyard, garage-shed, etc., is deemed by the movie a "failure" who lives on skid row, though he runs the local library which has a fridge behind the desk with booze in it. His house could easily fetch $300,000. How has this man been a failure? Huh? What? Maybe "the books explains it all" but the movie should stand alone. There is something captivating about this trainwreck of a movie, in 2007, that does have you riveted to watch it. It's bizarre. Lots of nonsense. But entertaining.

i loved this movie so much it's one of my favourite movie, stephen king is a genuis 'cause most people are afraid of clowns but there a few things wasn't right about the film like:
    1. bill (jonathan brandis) was cute when he was little but ugly when he grow up (richard thomas)
    2. when beverly (annette O'toole) grow up she was beautiful but when she was young (emily perkins) she was not so beautiful but atleast she was a little ..cute i guess
    3. henry bowers look was likea bully when was young and it was perfect but when he grow up he was going to make laugh like lol he wasn't scary at all.
    4. bill wife wasn't beautiful at all.
5.at the end IT was a giant spider, aren't it suppose to die when he is like... A CLOWN

okay whoever is posting comments about this movie saying [[this sucks]] or [[he couldve done better]], wtf?
if you dont like the movie, dont go on a page that has it all over. and it was pretty good. [[ben heller was hot as fuck heh.<333333.]] and i dont think this movie was supposed to be "jump out of your seat, scream bloody murder" scary. all of King's movies are supposed to leave you disturbed. and this movie did.
