I'll have to watch this one a second time before I attempt to explain it to someone else. It's a very interesting concept; but I'm just not sure if I completely understood it. With that being said, I still thought it was an excellent movie because I think there is a lot more to think about in this movie than what first meets the eye.

Stay is a lot like fine wine. If you don't like it, then you REALLY don't like it. But if you like it, then you appreciate it for it's beauty. This is exactly how this film is.

Stay is a thought provoking film that most people won't actually understand , but those who do can talk about the events in this movie for hours. It's one of those films that will confuse you until the shocking end. Once you realize the ending, you can go back and analyze everything that happened and draw a symbolic reason for it happening. It's amazing, and extremely smart. I can't go into anything because even the slightest bit of information would be a spoiler. If you have seen it and wish to ask, feel free.

The acting was great, most notably by Ryan Gosling. The camera-work was unique and very effective. I loved it.

If you can enjoy thought provoking, intelligent movies, then this movie is up your alley. I need to thank a friend on Flixster here who personally recommended this to me.

É um filme interessante, mas fica mais interessante quando você começa a entender de fato alguma coisa, ou seja, só no final.

This has to be my favorite movie of all time. The characters, although in an unrealistic situation, are lovable and believable, the acting is amazing, the film style is unique and beautiful, and the soundtrack ties the entire film together and carries it forward. Although difficult to understand at first, this movie is worth at least a second viewing.

This film is not for everyone. It may be a bit harder to understand than some people may be used to. But if you can see behind that and really were able to get the clues and ideas while watching the film then you must agree that it is pure art. Great actors, awesome cutting and a good story.. and I did not get it till the end, so I really was deeply impressed when the puzzle parts came together and formed a perfect picture. It is a masterpiece.

I found it hilarious that Ewan's pants were too short, and I specifically loved the reasoning behind it. Did he have short pants in Trainspotting as well? Great movie.

Ewan McGregor's pants are too short on purpose.
    **SPOILER**
as you probably figured out, the whole movie was the length of the last scene on the bridge, portraying the inner struggle of Gosling deciding whether he wants to live or die. The characters in the movie are all from the bridge, and are portrayed as Gosling sees them at that instant. This is why Ewan and Naomi are a couple because he sees them together although they arent together in "real life."
Because Ewan is squatting when he is talking to Gosling, his pants raise higher at the bottom, and this is why his pants are short throughout the movie, because that is how Gosling sees him.

I love this movie, I have ONE question for the rest of you however.. What was the deal with the Dr's clothes not fitting?.. It is REALLY noticeable, but I don't see anything at the end to give me a clue.. (I think I get the whole.. yellow pants thing.. , but no one at the end has noticeably ill fitting clothes)
