Actually for my brother it's a 5-star. He loves Spider-man. He has this fan book, pajamas, t-shirt, notebook, costume with a hardmask, cd game, action figure, etc. So I recomend this movie, for it's action. (and for the love of it from little brothers)
Although I am not really into fiction, I like Spiderman, very entertaining. Great story-line and special effects. Im a sucker for special effects. Great selection of actors too!

This movie is amazing. I loved this movie so much, it was very well created, and i think that everyone should see it. Anyone that likes a good action movie should see this.
I loved it it was one of my favorites but I dont think ill watch it for awhiel considering that iv seen it probly a thousand times cause my baby cousin loves it so somtimes I have no choice to watch anything els haha
a story of heroism and love. where the young peter parker has to choose whether to pursue his responsibilities as a hero/guardian, or to be with the one he loves the most.

When I was 9, I fucking loved spiderman. I bought the comics, the games, I even had the most disgusting looking nylon shirt you've ever seen with his picture on. So this movie came along around the right time, and then I was very happy with it.
And I still am. They nailed what spiderman should be perfectly, all the characters felt like they should've, and thus everything was fine. There a some great special effects and cool "GET YOUR WAR ON" fights, and yet the acting remains good throughout. Not brilliant, but believable. I would go rent it, or steal it and then give it back. And then hope you don't get any jailtime, and also hope bubba isn't waiting for you.

October 30, 2008 Everything about this film makes me want to hate it. Everything.
However, when someone, or myself, puts this on I can't help being glued to the screen.
It's always difficult to rate films that have been adapted from comics. You can't help comparing it; usually the comic comes out the winner.
However, Spider-Man has been rather successful, I guess I shouldn't complain.
Teen angst movie meets super hero. I am rereading the Ultimate Spider-Man graphic novels and I think this film and series has nailed the original intent of the comic book very well.
Peter Parker is hot! And for that reason, I would NOT mind being caught in his arms and flying through New York at all. Kirsten Dunst's character was very cute, and Tobey Maguire was excellent portraying Spider-Man before he was really Spider-Man. This is probably my favorite, aside from the romantic cliffhanger both this first film and the second one leave me hanging on to.
