Plot: A strange black entity from another world bonds with Peter Parker and causes inner turmoil as he contends with new villains, temptations, and revenge.
I did like this better than the rest of the movies in this series, but i dont like the series. I hate spiderman, but this movie was ok. Venom was a really good antagonist for the spiderman story. They did a really good job in portraying his character as well as sandman.
The first one is pretty good, the second one... not so good, this one, it seems theres too much in it, so many characters so many stories to tell.
I m not a spider man fan but the movies were really good, accept the love drama of mary jane. I mean this is why spider man acts the way he does. I hate that James franco dies.
This movie was short of crap. I mean I hate emo Spider instead pure mean Spidey. Topher Grace as the smug asshole Brock was just horrible. I don't even know what was the point of having sand man cause he didn't add much .
Being a big Spider-man fan I was hugely disappointed. If it we're 4 Topher Grace as Venom this movie would have been a complete failure!!
The best installment in the series and way better than X-men 3, Sam Raimi has done it again with Spider-man and has created one of the best superhero films out there. Can not wait long enough for number 4.
reallly sets it up for what could happen next, there was alot going on in this took a bit to keep track
pertty good and diffrent but it took to god damn long for venom to show up...but was cool seeing a more tragic villian and didnt want to do what he did...its just all he knew how to do...
Awful. I'm a huge fan and what the fuck were you thinking? Venom was done HORRIBLY. As was most everything else in this 'movie'.
I disagree with anyone who thinks there's too many villians, it's true to the comic! Spiderman as venom was a waste of screen time, too camp! The Sandman rules
omg, this is an awesome movie!!!
but it sucks that the hottest guy dies. why did harry have to die? y couldnt he have just lost his interest in that skank mary jane and fall someone else??? lol!!!! jk.
I liked this one. I don't know why my friends hated it. I was entertained. I also liked Topher Grace in here. Thomas Haden was great too!
It was a whole tangled web of sub-plots but very enojoyable strangely. Was worth it. Even the most eyebrows raising moments
If you enjoyed the first two then you have to see this one. It is quite a dark version and is well directed.
very intersting!!!i can`t believe that pepole still have new ideas about super heeros!that`s humans power of imagination!
There were so many factors in making this terrible... another example of why you don't go to the well too many times.
This is a great super-hero movie. It has everything a movie should have romance, action, comedy, everything. One of the best movies of all year
This movie was a little disappointing. But all in all, the action wasn't pretty bad. It just had too many things going on in the movie, but it wasn't that bad. I guess it was the cheesiness of the love story in it that made me almost fall over my chair. Its just that, the love story seems like a repeat from the past two movies it had before this.
Eye can't believe it a Spider-Man movie that isn't great has finally been made. This film screwed up many things about the franchise. First of all they really messed up the beloved villian Venom. Say what? That alone is enough said about what this movie did wrong. The future of this franchise seems sadly bleak.
after the huge success of the other two Spider-Man films i have to say this third installment kinda drag on for about 146 minutes. in this installment the story is: a strange black entity from another world bonds with Peter Parker and causes inner turmoil as he contends with new villains, temptations, and revenge.the special effects here are absolutely fantastic and incredible.Spider-Man not only battles the
Green Goblin(James Franco),but also two other villains as well which include the Sandman(Thomas Haden Church),and Venom(Topher Grace). Released at the beginning of the summer 2008 and there were some gret movies which came out during the summer 2008 and this was one of the them.
I'm sorry, but this one missed the mark completely. From the disco-dancing Peter Parker, to the woeful miscasting of Topher Grace as Venom, it was a major disappointment.
Not the best movie. I think spiderman was and still is one of THE corniest superheroes ever! but i'll consider the graphics n whatnot n give it a....

I hope Sam Raimi doesn't come back for "Spider-Man 4". I'm tired of his take on Spidey. Does it seem to anyone else like Raimi just wants to direct a romantic comedy that just happens to star a superhero? If "Spider-Man 3" had been as good as "Spider-Man 2", I might feel differently, but since "Spider-Man 3" was a major disappointment, I'd be happy to see a new director at the helm of this franchise. (And I wouldn't mind seeing the backs of Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst either.)
the cast of this movie suked:thomas haden church is too old for sandman and topher grace is too nice looking(if i say cute it will sound gay) to play venom.
Well I heard Spiderman 4 will be out before long in pictures and I haven't even watched this one yet I watched Spiderman 2 and that weren't bad saw I hope this is going to be better.
You know, I actually really like this movie, but it just occurred to me that it would have been a much tighter, more coherent and ultimately better film if Sam Raimi had omitted Sandman. I liked Sandman, mind you- I thought he was well-played for being such a minor foe in the comics, and they certainly got the look right. But he was ultimately an attempt to maintain the tone of the second film, a classic Spidey villain to offset the newer, darker ones- in the end, he served no purpose in the narrative that couldn't have been served by Harry or some nameless thugs. It's funny that they would try to turn Sandman into a villain with personal ties to Peter when Harry and Venom are two of the most personal foes Spidey has ever faced- why throw in Sandman, too? The film would have been much sharper if it had focussed on Harry's obsession with vengeance (hopefully ended in a more plausible way), Peter's descent into darkness, and their mutual attempts to achieve redemption. Still, I liked it.
its actually a good movie but i was expecting more actions, fight scenes and i mean more..i don't know but when i was watching it i enjoyed but i was expecting more....i think the 1 and the 2nd one is more good than this...i hope the 4th installment will be more actions, and fight scenes...
