Don't let the name stop you from watching this cheesy flick. Nice plot, special effects and character development too. Samuel L.Jackson was badass, and so were the snakes. My favourite scene is when the dog gets eaten by the snake... don't ask why.
Overall, full of action with some comedy thrown in, pure fun.
As stupid as it sounds, but campy and fairly entertaining. Not exactly my cup of tea but worth seeing just to hear Samuel L. Jackson's delivery of the line: I've had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane!
The best thing about this movie is the title. It wasn't campy enough to be fun and it wasn't suspenseful enough to be scary. Samuel Jackson proves once again that he will do any movie where he can collect a check.
"I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THESE MOTHF**KIN SNAKES ON THIS MOTHERF**KIN PLANE" This is the best line in the film I laughed so hard. This does fit in the so bad it's good caterogy and I hate to say that I did enjoy it. The storyline is laughable and for some reason the snakes seem a wee bit pervy if you watch it you will see what I mean. This film is predictable and far-fetched and you have to wonder why Samuel L Jackson agreed to do it
In a class with "Anaconda" and "Lake Placid," this humorous flight induced more pain than fright. The one and a half stars goes towards Samuel's explicit lines, which was the only memorable element of this movie.

NO No no. This was a pointless idea for a movie and Sam Jackson just wasnt his best at this. I was an ok movie tho. Snakes on a plane??? Horrible idea for a movie. Whats next, dragons invading new york????? Wait a minute...hollywood did that. Who;s going to watch it?
This film was cheesy, unrealistic, predicable and crass, but entertaining none the less. If you want to see a brainless flick that will make you laugh at inappropriate things, this is the film for that.
This is one of the most ridiculous movies I have ever seen, but it gets three stars because it was pretty entertaining. And who doesn't love the "I'm sick of these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane" line.
I was actually really surprised by this movie. Sure, I was one of those "LOL SOAP" people on 4chan months before the movie came out - and I never expected it to be good. But it was, surprisingly, not terrible. I was, however, a little put off by their portrayal of Hawaii (yeah, I live and grew up here), and the fact that although they mentioned snakes were not indigenous to Hawaii - they forgot to mention they're also, uh, you know, ILLEGAL.
to be honest...i wanted to only see this movie for one true reason to hear sam jackson scream "i have had with theses mother fucking snakes on this mother fucking plane" thats all i cared about....but hey its a fun movie some cool moments and the cast was really cool the choices and shit... and hey also got what i wanted...you go see a movie called snakes on a plane...thats what ya pay to see! sam jackson kick some snake ass and it happening on a plane thats it so id say it was fun ride fully
Ok so you got this guy who happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He witnesses a murder by a triad mobster or something to that affect. Now input Sam Jackson, he's the FBI agent that has to protect said witness. Put 'em on a plane and what do you got? One heck of a movie. From the germaphobic rapper that closely resembles Jamie Fox, to the rich blonde woman that could pass for Paris Hilton (with the stupid little dog and everything). A couple awesome parts, snake comes out snags some poor lady's tounge and she starts foaming out of her eyes. I laughed. Another laughing moment was when I noticed that the same guy died more than once. Its like they didn't want to pay for more extras so they just said eh...you can die twice. All in all this movie was pretty good. I'd definitly watch it again. I thought it was gonna be stupid and then I got bored and turned it on. Watch it if you have a chance.
Well-made B-movie trash at it's best. It is ridiculous, but it's a lot of fun, and there's actually more elements of thriller here than comedy. Overhyped? Yeah, but lots of films are. Just shut up and enjoy. There are worse ways to spend 90 minutes of your life.
this was actually pretty good, i thought it wouldn't be, i was just watching, so i'd have seen it, so yeah, but i didn't mind, i did freak out at some parts though lol...*shudder* i HATE snakes!!! but i LOVE cobra starship <333 OMG if you watch this, make sure you watch the credits, so you can see cobra starship's music video
