Im a a hopeless romantic, and so bias with love stories, i love the scene when Tom Hanks or is it the kid that describe the wife/mom, that she can peel an apple in just one contineous stroke and meg ryan, was just doing that, peeling the apple in one single continueos stroke.
a dreamy, romantic -drama fantasy, mood falls somewhere between magic and reality, hippest, frankest and funniest date movie !
Another Meg Ryan/Tom Hanks Classic. I can only think of one that was a real loser that both these two were in (Joe verses the volcano). Definatelly one of my favorites
Before You Got Mail, there was a movie with the same premise, where a man and a woman meet over the radio.
Toma just have to moive on , little did he know that his love is just waiting for him to meet her in New York.
Perfect example of a romantic fantasy. Loved the Fatal Attraction scene and it's effect on men. LOL.
Tom Hanks is as enchanting as ever, but it's too mushy and romantic for my liking. A chick flick that even I had trouble sitting through.
its a classic. but the soundtrack was a bit distracting, the transistions were a bit fast, and it was too loud at times
Jonah Baldwin (Ross Malinger) lost his mom Margaret "Maggie"Abbott Baldwin (Carey Lowell) about a year & half when he called the radio talk show: Dr. Marcia fieldstone, Radio Station KWRS in Chicago is on the air middle of the night. Jonah needs a new wife for his father named Samuel "Sam" Baldwin (Tom Hanks) is an architect. Annie Reed (Meg Ryan) wants to meet Sam & Jonah in New York City on Valentine's Day on top of the Empire State Building & they're finally meet each other.
Apparently, there's nothing that makes a romantic-comedy more than Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks - this is one of at least three of theirs.
i luved it
it waz soooo cute !!!!!
i luv how they just meet and fall in love
it waz like they were made for each other
Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan can always bring a winning performance when they are working together. However, the ending and plot was a little cheesy and predictable.
the movie really left me speechless. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan is now my most favorite on-screen couple.
OMG! I LOVE THIS MOVIE! Not as good as You've Got Mail, but Rosie O'Donnell is awesome as the sidekick.
Love this movie, but wait, I love this combination of actors. You just can't go wrong with love when you put Hanks and Ryan in it.
I know its the same old story..meetin at the tower and stuff but i watch it everytime its on air..don know why
I had to lower my rating half a star... harry potter overshadows everything! No seriously...I'm just a tough critic.
A little boy Jonah calls a radio statiion to say he wanted a new wife for his dad who is widowed. Thousands of marriage proposals some in. Jonah is set on a girl called Annie (Meg Ryan) and she feels destined to meet Sam (Tom Hanks) . Drags on a bit, but can't wait until they meet.
About two people who lived on two dafferent sides of the United States of America who finally meet each other after a long episoed of misfortunes but eventually get toghether
Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks as star-crossed, or is that radio call in show crossed lovers. Keep tissue close by!
The sweetest romantic comedy of the 90's. Ryan and Hanks have fantastic chemistry. I don't like it as much as You've Got Mail, but still, it's wonderful nonetheless!
Exciting and incredibly hilarious.
It even made me want to try if putting a spoon with sugar in your mouth for a minute actually erases hickups!
A very sweet film. I loved that it wasn't such a cliche of a film, since they don't really meet eachother until the end.
what i like about Sleepless in Seattle is this movie didn't show much of quixotic scenes...there's none, actually...but the whole story is distinctive and beautiful...tom hanks' the best...
I first saw this movie when I was a little kid with my sister Angie and I have loved this movie ever since. I love the opening with all the stars in the sky and the music. I bought the soundtrack years ago.
