    I like this dance movie because its different from "Step up" ect; it actually has a storyline as well as dancing.

    Like I was saying, Julia Stiles + Sean Patrick Thomas = Made 4 Each Other! Totally!!!!! Plus S.P.T. totally hot and totally shirtless! That is a must see for any preteen, teen, and adult girl/woman alive! THE END! Plus the dance moves are tres magnifique!

    If you are gonna watch a dance movie remember there is only dancing. Never so much a plot line. But out of the ones I have seen this movie does the best with making one.

    I watched this with one of my good friend Steffie. a bit odd. but a for a movie that i dont normally watch it was pretty good. can't believe she was soon to be in the movie the omen *gasp*

    The script of this movie makes me cringe, but it's often realistic to how people actually talk. I can't help but cheer for Sara throughout this whole film. She's quite a loveable character. I wish I had someone like Derek who could teach me how to dance. XD The story is lovely. Sara's audition dance is especially captivating. The cast is wonderfully star-studded: Julia Stiles, Kerry Washington, Fredro Starr (wait - does he count? Can somebody say 360?), Kendra from Buffy the Vampire Slayer... I thoroughly enjoyed this movie.

    I didnt like how the white girl had to take on all black characteristics just because she was with a black man. It just shows no personality of her own

    Never really like gangsta movies but pool gangsta with dance and u've got me hooked! This is something i will watch 2, 3 or even 4 times......... overall, great.

    I watched it twice in 1 day. The movie is perfect I think. There is no scene that you can "fast forward" it and dont wanna watch it again. The screenplay is a simple realistic story (still interesting enough), but Its the direction which is outstanding and makes something great out of the movie.
    The movie is pleasant, motivating and inspiring. Tierd of living in the fantasy world, I realy needed someting this real and factual to promote the sense of working and trying and doing the best, in me.
    The soundtrack is exciting and well-chosen (lots of good hiphop tracks). The dance scenes are cool and Julia Stiles is the man!

    I really liked this movie. It shows the couple perservering in their relationship and shows that not every relationship is without speedbumps. It shows the girl adjusting to a new school and finding out that no matter what you shouldn't give up on your dreams.

    It's actually quite a typical film about trying to fit in and be accepted, but as Julie >Stiles plays in it, for me it stopped being typical, but rather exceptional.
