Very cute. And a lot funnier than I expected it to be. The Jason Biggs character is a little unnecessary though, especially when he turns out NOT to be gay. I had to knock off a few points because it bugged me a little. Paul Rudd, Lake Bell and Eva Longoria have fantastic timing and great comedic chemistry.
Quite Boring, because it wasn't doing much at the beginning. All I can say is that this movie looks very similiar like "JUST LIKE HEAVEN" by Reese Witherspoon=)
I enjoy seeing that actress, because she's a terrific role model.
Really average zany comedy version of Ghost with Eva Longoria Parker. Less laughs between Longoria and Lake Bell, who's trying to seduce the mean-spirited young woman's fiance.
Has quite a few laughs and I love Longoria's role when she plays a bitch. It's a happy ending really but sad if you think about what Kate must have been feeling.
It was actualy pretty funny. Jason Biggs was a huge reason for my laughter actually. He was great. And all in all it wasnt half bad. Nothing worth recomending but not bad to watch once for a few laughs.
I could have lived without ever seeing this. Desperate Housewife plays an overbearing bitch that Mke from Friends is much better off without, so no real sympathy there.
The only good thing about this flick is Mike from Friends playing... Mike from Friends. Biggsy's pretty good too as the gay catering assistant.
Oh boy, I was forced to watch this girly flick while I was away. Suprisingly enough it was pretty ok, its not a block-buster nor was it rib-crackling, but.. well.. you know... Its an average, bearable film.
What to expect? One scene where youll suddenly find yourself bursting from laugher!
Over all, not bad. Coudlve been better, but not bad at all. 3 stars!
Jason Biggs becomes a filler in this movie, and Linsay Sloane pretty much caught my attention in here, i wish shed be more active in movies and shows, shes got so much potential, I wish shed do more movies in the future.
kindof a stupid movie to be honest. dumb plot. jus a plain ok film. dont rent this, dont go c it in a cinema. its not worth it. Lake Bell puts a gud performance i thot. shes sorta like a new cameron diaz. altho not as sexy. paul rudd did not impress me that much. but im a big fan of jason biggs, from american pie, n while he was occasionally funny, it wasnt hilarious.
i dont kno wtf is wrong with ppl giving this such a bad rating, maybe its one of those situations where one person gives it a low rating then everyone else starts to. LAME. anyways i liked this movie just there was certain parts i didnt like or agree with. it was alright.
I did manage to finish this movie but was disappointed. It was pretty borning and was sad that Jason Biggs wasnt in this film as much as he should have been. There were some funny parts but none that made you fall on the floor dying. Not something I will watch again
VERY medioker acting...lhalf especially by the lady who played the pshcyic (sp???) and henery....eva was pretty good but everyone else was jsut half and half.
An okay flick that has a fun plot, few decent visual effects and some laughs. Eva Longoria Parker and Paul Rudd deliver terrific performances but the performance of Lake Bell is lifeless and lacking.
Fun, fresh, innovative... IT HAS EVA LONGORIA! what else could i possibly say? Does it has a predictable ending?YES... it sure has a predictable ending, but it also has a sorpresive envelopment with a lot of unexpected situations that makes up for it.
Sad that Eva took this one on as she can play a hot cop and run in high heels!! Eva..sorry you are so stuck in Wisteria Lane.. A kooky little movie that does all the fortune teller stuff..did you forget voodoo dolls?
It's hard to imagine that Eva Longoria could find a worse script than Desperate Housewives! This movie is a rather ordinary comedy, even the director appears to acknowledge this by throwing in stupid things into the background in scenes regularly which are far funnier than the main story. Having said that it's not a boring movie and I did pause it for a potty stop!!
The movie was alright. I didn't see it right away because of all the bad reviews. But it was better than expected. Lake Bell made the movie though, not Eva or Jason. Looking to see more from Lake
