This was pretty funny. Not the best animated movie ever, but it will entertain you for a while. The squirrels are the best part!

This debut offering from Sony Pictures Animation has a giddy energy about it and a gleeful sense of its own weirdness and goofy anarchy. This is a routine animated animals flick, but there are enough zany moments to keep things interesting like the whacky things you can do with rabbits. Open Season is an odd-couple comedy with humor that is sharp and witty and, at times, mischievously dark. Its no classic but its not a disaster, its a funny, high energy, fun time, and theres nothing wrong with that.

its 1 of the only computer animated movies i like [and over the hedge]

This is one of my favorite movies ever!!!!!!! I don't know what it is, but some people love it and some people hate it...I think its just that they don't give it a chance! Its straight up funny, has awesome voice characters and a lot of time was spent in the animation and plot....I love it! LOVE IT!!!

Nice way of shoving politics down kids' throats. Funny in some parts, but mostly stupid with an anti-hunting message.
