One of my farourite movies of all time! Rodriguez is a legend of over the top cinema! This movie had it all: Thrills, laughs, shocks, chills and of course, just the right amount of blood! :D Sadly I have not had the chance to see the other two of the trilogy, but it is my main movie priority! Johnny depp was brilliant and Antonio Banderas' sweet quest for revenge rivalled Brandon Le''s in The Crow. This movie rocks!

MCT:November 12, 2008I'm a sucker for these types of flicks. I love the action and intrigue, and the clincher, it has Johnny Depp. But it does tend to try too hard to be the Mexicano, cool guy with a dark past, sort of movie. Johnny could've added a little more to his character. He was a little too reserved. In this type of movie, you sort of want to hate the antagonist a bit more. I loved the bazooka in the guitar case. That'd come in handy...

robert rodriguez has got that unique style, kinda like quentin tarantino. johnny depp and antonio banderas were very good in this. this movie is excellent and bursting with action, guns and explosions. salma jayek was hot
