    funny and light-hearted john wayne comedy. i've seen a comedy with john wayne in it before and it wasn't good at all. however this one is directed by someone else and miles better for it!

    This movie is soooooooo dumb... I dont think I would be able to watch it agine. But I did laugh alot in it.

    I really like this movie. I havn't seen it all the way through but I've seen parts of it on t.v and Its really good

    Very entertaining. One of the best and longest fist fight (excluding The Quiet Man) in the history of movies!

    Watched this on AMC a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Stars The Duke, Stewart Granger, Fabian and a very lovely lady...Capucine.

    Of the many greats classic from Hollywood's golden age this remains one of the best. film with performances by John Wayne

    An early comedy western done by The Duke himself but not quite the same as McLintock! which was done in '63.

    North! to Alaska, oh the rush is on. Did they come up with the movie after the song, or was it the other way around?

    This was really different than what I expected. This seemed kind of like a comedy in a way. John Wayne made me laugh a bunch of times. The story was just to die for, and I really just loved the whole movie. North to Alaska makes you laugh and is enormously entertaining.
