MCT:November 22, 2008Remakes are a piece of crap.Re-imagining Romero's zombie extravaganza is a perversion of dreams and pseudo-romantic effects.Savini,another director/clone in my opinion takes the basic premise and creates a softer,less challenging version.OK,the topic is that...it's not bad at all.It offers little however in contrast to the original and ONLY worthwhile Night of the Living Dead.Kudos to the cult figure Tony Todd.

This film and its older brother are memories from my childhood. I dont know if my rating goes farther then my own thoughts because of that. -
MCT:October 26, 2008Only people who have never seen the original like this movie. This adaptation works, but for the people who love the original, you can easily tell how off this one is and it kills it. Stays faithful to the source for most of the movie, still annoyingly slightly off, then veers off a bit later... Just watch the original. Color is not a selling point for a movie.

no it wasnt great but was it fun? hell yeah tony todd really did a not bad of a job being the intese ben and tom towles...well he was great as fucking always tom savini did a very decent take on the whole idea....even if the FX SUCKED!... but it was...hmm...good but it can NOT top the orignal but good cameos and good thoughts...i admit that...
