MCT:October 26, 2008Finished watching this movie and couldn't believe I'd just wasted that much time on such a lame flick. For a comedy, it was not at all funny, I did not find myself laughing once throughout the film. Acting was lame, dialogue was lame and all of the inappropriate "humor" turned an interesting story concept into a boring, tacky film. Not recommended.

MCT:October 16, 2008Boring romantic comedy about a pair and the girl has super natural power. I am actually fed up of many of these superhero kinds of movies these days, but unfortunately I still gave this one a chance. After watching it for around 40 minutes, the time was up to throw more time on this boring movie.

I was not expecting this movie to be any good, and imagine my surprise when it was! This movie was hilarious. As a huge comic book geek, this was a wonderful take on the superhero genre. Plus, having Uma Therman and Anna Faris in a movie together is my dream come true.

(2006 Director Ivan Reitman) Uma Thurman is marvelous in this one! Great supporting cast... funy funny! If you saw the previews then you know Uma has superhuman powers. Yes definitely"campy"....for the sci fi, satire lovers!! Predictable sexual humor...Luke Wilson's character is not UP for the task of a girl friend, much less a super hero girlfriend!!

I really didn't like this movie. Whilst it had the occasional chuckle, it really wasn't worth the money to go and see. The acting was semi-decent, but the plot was thin and dull.

these reviews are merely guidelines as to whether you might want to go see the film in question . we must all keep in mind that we are all unique and entitled to our own opinions.however , its better to check out a review than go into a movie blind, relying on trailers that only show what a test audience thinks are the coolest parts of the film( i e the grudge)
