Plot: Author Rudyard Kipling and his wife search for their 17-year-old son after he goes missing during World War I.
Expect a BBC made for TV type of movie. The story had me a little interested but ultimately it doesn't really pull through. There's just nothing new or different here. David Haig seems to be a great actor. Radcliffe on the other hand just makes me think of "Hair Lip Steve". (Not bad acting, just bad stache.) Overall this won't be getting a second watch.
I am very impressed with this film. Firstly, it's nice to see Mr. Radcliffe in a role other than Harry Potter; now I have respect for him. It's also nice to see Kim Cattrall in a role other than a whorrific New York socialite. Although the combat aspect takes a backseat to the Kipling family drama, that combat which is seen is very well done. A very moving and historically accurate anti-war drama.
It's really sad, and Daniel Radcliffe has a mustache (which just totally made me crack up!) but it's alright.
oh, this was such a good movie =] i feel like a dork cause I am such a dan fangirl that i watched a movie till 12am on PBS for him. This really showed me how good an actor he is, though. I cried, a lot.
Very good, but not quite as cinematic as it could have been... superb final scenes and great performances from the main characters.
This board looks lonely. Be the first to talk about "My Boy Jack" !
