one of my favorite actors, david straithairn, plus two of my least favorite actors ever, natalie portman and jude law, made this an interesting watch. norah jones was surprisingly good, and the story is familiar to any idealist and well, dreamer of sorts. certainly worth a netflixer.

It's kinda slow but has a good story. And I really like the kissing scene. It's very beautiful and artistic. I like the acting of Norah Jones, very natural. Other 3 stars (Jude Law, Rachel Weisz, and Natalie Portman) gave their best acts, esp. Weisz.

nothing but a sweet, jazzy film. good to watch with your soulmate. oh, and Chan Marshal (aka Cat Power) still looks lovely as always, and damn, i love her voice.
