March of the Penguins is an interesting documentary following exactly what the title states. It is full of astounding facts and footage and has crisp and clear narration. What the film lacks is the fact that it is hard to be kept interested. Tue to the fact that most of the movie seems like a bunch of penguins walking around as you here the facts over the film. There are a few shots that are quite intriguing, which helps the past fault a little bit. If you do, however, enjoy movies about wildlife and penguins and have a passion for learning, this is the film for you. If not, then steer clear.

Some funny moments, some unbearably sad moments, but mostly you're left asking the question: Why? Why do penguins bother investing their time and energy into such a convoluted and dangerous mating ritual? There has to be an easier way!

Gorgeous! These animals have a hard life and man are they the best at it.

I'm pissed off that people are so ignorant towards their existance.

When i watch a doco its usually about a massive nile crocodile nabbing any beast dumb enough to take a drink. But i enjoyed this immensly, definately worth renting. Laugh as they slide over the ice, gasp as their predators attack, smile as the hatchlings enter the water for the very first time.

Justins Best Bit: Fat, feathery blobs tripping over themselves and sliding along.
