MCT:August 19, 2008Great film. The only drag was the way the film ended. I can understand they wanted to leave the movie ready for the next chapter but I still didn't like the cut-off.

The complete absurdity of the violence and the copious amount of Hong Kong martial arts, Japanese Samurai, and classic noir movie references makes this uniquely enjoyable. The performances were as over the top as the gore, and the characters just screamed 'badass.' People often don't 'get' this movie, as pass it off as a mindless gross-out flick. It's so much more than that to me. This movie was a tribute to what makes obscurity so grand.

Beautiful violence....just pure beauty...
Watched it the second time again in a different cut, a R2 disc that is apparently only available in Japan where some scenes are longer and the cut of the tea room scene never goes to black and white. I found it enjoyable and realize how the mind remembers certain scenes differently. Also, the blood was really fantastic and the violence is just enjoyable, even if continuity was odd, it never is noticeable and the shots were very good, well-visualized and done. -

Absurdly violent, absurdly interesting, absurdley brilliant. Uma Thurman creates one of the most powerful heroines in cinema history. Revenge movies don't come any better.

It becomes clear when watching this just how much insipiration he has drawn from other movies. This is a good thing;as he makes it work wll. Quinten borrows a lot of ideas and concepts from old movies, in this film. But he does so bringing it into the fore as a fresh and completly original peice of work. The revenge plot is well crafted, and leaves questions at it's end: what is the ultimate aim and intentions of Bill? Has he set all of this up for his own advantages? That's the beauty of this film- it goes beyond a 'slash em and hack em'. The fight scenes are amazingly well done: a true strong point in the film.

Kill Bill was action packed and totally awesome. I really don't care for blood and gore movies, in fact I usually hate them, but this has to be one of my favorite action films. The japanese theme to it was really cool.

OMG!!! This is perhaps on of the best movies I have ever seen even though I know the mind of Quentin Tarantino can be a little gory he managed this time to entwine all with a good stroy line. Uma Thurman did awesome. SO TWO THUMBS UP! People go buy this movie.

i like this movie. it wasn't what i expected from a fighting movie. the first time i saw the trailer, i actually didn't think i would be an good movie but i still wanted to watch it but i'm sure glad that i saw it in the theater.

I LOVE Kill Bill! It is my all time favourite movie! There's so much vioence, surprises, and gore! Plus the Bang Bang song is really good! In fact, all the music in the film was awesome! I could watch this movie every day and not get tired of it.
