omg i love this movie lolz i always wish i could jump like the main character David, He is soo fucken sexy =)'' !!!!!
Some of the story was kind of predictable, but I really like the idea of being able to go anywhere at anytime.
Some great set pieces and Hayden Christianson's engaging performance makes Jumper a fun entry despite its flimsy and underdeveloped story.
This movie is nothing but a good idea which has been poorly performed and a bunch of entertaining scenes which are not cohesive. The storyline is terrible, especially the relationship between the jumper and the girl, it just seems so silly!
A contender... for worst film ever. Fox had its CG artists take an $85 million dollar dump, and suckers spent over $200 million eating it up. Yum.
"There's something that is critical when telling a story of a superhero-esque character, particularly one that is unknown to the majority of the audience, and that is to have us believe and go along with it for the length of the film. Jumper unfortunately loses us not only with the super-ability that it showcases but in the annoying side-stories that need not be there."

Horrible scriptand unpersonal direction. The actors are all bad, the situations are all cliches. A piece of trash. But the effects were nice.
Jumper was a really great, and exciting movie. I didn't expect a lot going into this movie because the idea of a guy having the power to jump from place to place without walking. It seemed a little bit weird and cheesy to me. It was really amazing though and it caught my attention really quick. The first ten minutes of this movie were so cool. I loved the idea of having Hayden Christensen playing the main character who is a jumper. I thought that he nailed the part. The girl that he liked through the whole movie was very cute and did a great job as well. I also liked the idea of throwing a love story into the mix of the story. One thing that I didn't like about the movie was Samuel L. Jackson being in this kind of movie. I didn't think they needed to have him play the part of the man who tries to kill all the jumpers in the world. The action scenes in this movie were very cool to watch. This movie was very entertaining as well and is worth every penny you pay to see it. The visual effects were very sweet and thought that it could win an award. In conclusion this movie was very exciting and is worth seeing, you will be entertained the whole movie. Trust me you will not want to miss out on this movie. You wont want to get up out of your seat at all for anything. Just go see it especially teens you will mostly enjoy it.
Nothing could save this directionless, pointless piece of drivel. Not even the talented Jamie Bell, who I think was the only talented person involved. Just awful.
very good movie - minus one scene. Great graphics and digital editing. cool plot but left hanging a little bit, with a possible sequel opening.
I have to say that this is a great one too. With the new Idea of human......almost like X-men but a little bit less extreme..considered good
Hmmmm....
I am kinda disappointed in a way with this.Ya know the movies that seem to show everything it's got in the trailer,to me this is what that seemed like. Also the whole movie seemed so dam rushed,Did anyone else feel this way?It seems like there were so many things not explained??Anyway dont get me wrong,Great cast LOVED the special effects,Its entertaining, its just so fast. Please message me if you have seen this.Thanks. =)
Delivered slightly below expectations. An opeing that felt rushed and a slightly confusing ending didn't help a film that already felt like it was aimed towards younger teens. Which is a shame for this hilarious concept. It's saved by beautiful landscapes, some humor in the everyday benefits jumping and the strong presence of Jamie Bell. His character was believable, and Jamie's acting great. I will keep an eye on him, because for me, this film began when he came on.
I was actually surprised that I enjoyed this film. It seemed as if each of the 3 acts were condensed to fit in one movie. I have been known to say that trilogys are unnecessary but this is one film that I wish they would have split it into 3 seperate films. The writers give you a bit of backstory of the war between the jumpers and the paladins. Also, I would have liked to see more of the mother story. Hayden Christiansen is actually pretty good in this one.
a cool movie to watch.
nice special effects, i like how it teleports.
dont we all wish to teleport somewhere who needs a plane?
I watched this movie not really expecting much from it, but weirdly it turned out to be a pretty good movie. I would definately recommend that you watch it, because it is a really great movie.
Just about watchable, got boring after you have seen him jump a few times and the acting was pretty lame except for Samuel L. Jackson. The idea had alot of possibilites and it was very badly written
I thought this was a cool movie. It wasn't anything really special but it was entertaining and it keeps your interest throughout the entire film. Hayden Christensen and Samuel L. Jackson both gave great performances. Rachel Bilson wasn't so great but then again I haven't seen her do a great acting job in anything. Diane Lane was also in this movie but very little of it. It had a cool ending and it is set-up for a sequel. It's not something I would own or watch over and over again but worth watching. If they make a sequel I would check that out as well.
di?er filmlere oranlara farkl? konusu baya ilgi çekici son zamnlarda sevdi?im ve be?eniyle izledi?im hayden christensen iyi çok iyi türün sevenler?ne iyi bir tercih olur derim
Since he became a ?name?, all Doug Liman movies have arrived under a cloud: one thick with scuttlebutt of over-running shoots, studio arguments and disgruntled (preferably injured) cast and crew. But so far those clouds have always wafted by as the movie turns out to be rather a blast. It happened with The Bourne Identity and again with Mr and Mrs Smith. Liman doesn?t release his creations until he?s good and ready, taking his time and throwing everything at the wall until something good sticks, hence the rumours of trouble. Jumper, though great fun in spurts, is the first of his films not to have benefited from the technique. It is instead a little dizzy.
That it doesn?t fully deliver on its promise is not down to the lack of a good central idea. The premise is bulging with possibility, boiling down to the fact that in our world exist ?Jumpers?, people who can teleport anywhere, as long as they know what it looks like. They are (apparently) all young, male and handsome, blessed with very low body fat despite never lifting a finger to reach for a remote control. Chasing them are ?Paladins?, an international band of religious fanatics determined to exterminate all jumpers because only God should have the power to be in all places at once. It?s a simple reason and a believable one. Wars have been fought for less.
Sadly, that?s everything there is to the story. The Paladins catch up with our hero, David (Hayden Christensen) after he?s spent eight years robbing banks, and try to kill him, while he keeps hopping across continents to avoid them. We don?t see much deeper on either side, and Liman and his screenwriters, who have proven themselves able on other projects, can?t conjure a meaty subplot. Samuel L. Jackson?s Paladin chief Roland is a bad guy who struggles to fill out a second dimension, and his employees are nameless goons. David is given some sketchy abandonment issues, which lead to a tacked-on coda, but otherwise he?s a bit of a blank canvas. Rachel Bilson as his spunky love interest and Jamie Bell as Griffin, a more charismatic, anarchic jumper who fills David in on the history of the Jumper/Paladin war, add a much-needed and welcome shot of charm and zest, if not depth.
So, it?s a thin film, but one not without its share of delights. Liman has always been most creative when pointing his camera at two people attacking each other. The jumping effect, meanwhile, is faultlessly executed ? a sort of hazy implosion that leaves a sphere of destruction around it ? and when Liman finds good use for it, generally involving both David and Griffin, it?s fantastic. In the film?s best sequence, the pair fight for possession of a detonator, a breathless scrap that takes them from pyramids, to a busy freeway, to the Empire State Building. When delighting in its premise in such a way, the movie becomes an absolute joy.
The overall impression Jumper leaves is much the same as the first X-Men movie: there are plenty of good ideas, and enough going on for a satisfying experience, yet nothing catches or coheres in quite the way you wish. In short, this feels like a good prologue to a bigger event. Here?s hoping that, as X-Men did, this leads to a sequel that can lace its precursor?s loose strands into something spectacular.
I guess I was expecting the worst here, but actually not that bad. Some good action sequences make up for Christensen's flat acting. Worth renting.

THIS LOOKS SO GOOD, AND ONE OF MY FRIENDS LOVED IT SO I WANNA SEE IT!!!
A great film with a great cast, definitely my favourite movie of the month
This movie was really annoying!
I found the acting quite weak and the plot conclusions and links ridicoulous, to say the least!
I nerly feel asleep lol, only maybe cuz i was tired
Good concept, but no exexcuted well enough is imo
The storyline of teleporting was innovative in this Sci fi movie. It reminds me somewhat of the superheros in Matrix but I thought it was a bit too much teleporting all over the place. It looses something in movie when you're trying to keep up with the characters going from one scene to the next.
what A CRAP FILM, PLOT SO BASIC A CHILD COULD WRITE IT, ONLY THING KEPT ME WATCHING IS ROLE REVERSAL OF STAR WARS GOOD V BAD GUYS!
Rachel Bilson will you marry me? If only I could teleport, then that would be whats up?
