Plot: The comic 'Bluntman and Chronic' is based on real-life stoners Jay and Silent Bob, so when they get no profit from a big-screen adaptation they set out to wreck the movie.

One of the best Star Wars Fan Films of all time. The movie is filled with dick and fart jokes and the such, which is what makes it a Kevin Smith film.

Jay and Silent Bob, characters who have made for excellent cameos in films such as Mallrats and Clerks, now have their own feature film - and it fails miserably, no surprises there. These are two characters that would need a very tight knit script to be appealing in a film focusing on them, instead Kevin Smith has developed a screenplay that caters for the most recycled jokes I have ever witnessed in one film. The constant gay snides and preposterous antics are reused over and over again and quickly become tedious and tireing. The real marks in this film come from brilliant and sometimes subtle intertextuality with a plethora of cameo appearances, most notable great scenes involving Chris Rock, Will Ferrell, Wes Craven, and even Gus Van Sant.

It's certainly a gigantic in-joke, but as someone on the in, it is one of my most favourite comedies.

I finaly took the time to watch this movie and it was so worth it. This is great comedic action and random craziness for everyone out there with ADD or a really simple sense of humor. Jay serves up some great catch phrases and hard hitting insults. this movie is superb at pushing the envelope and pressing peoples buttons. With a load of celebrity's like this, how could the movie be anything short of creative and surprising from moment to moment? Watch it kids.
