This was pretty good.If you a Steve Carrell fan you will really love this.Not like Bruce Almighty at all.This had alot of funny moments,its a great movie for the whole family and all I can really say is the animal trainers in this movie were excellent!
While there were good parts of the movie and I wasn't necessarily bored, I did think the movie was rather anti-climactic. The most exciting scene of the movie is already in the previews, and I didn't feel like this was as good as the preceding Bruce Almighty.
This was a film which made me a lot laugh and lot to think... I really liked Morgan freeman acting in this film and also the hero who acted perfect in this film but so sad because Jim carrey was not there... but i liked this one very much... its totally comical and entertained me well... want to see it again... its a good pack movie...
An awesome family film that has genuine humor at its heart! Great positive message in this and Steve Carell does a terriffic job! Worth watching for sure!
Evan Almighty? More like Evan "Just Alrighty" hardy har har. Seriously..Even on the second watch last night on HBO I didnt chuckle but maybe 2 or 3 times. Good film in general but not the blockbuster they promoted.
vague freaking concept..even kids wouldn't wanna see this irrational movie...finally a movie with nothing to offer & gotta admit the animals were better actors than steve carrell..
I really liked it. My God, Lauren Graham is such an awesome actress (Y) Reminder of her back in her Gilmore Girl days... Steve Carell was good, had a few laughs from him. Wasn't Molly Shannon like just completely random?! ...Yeah, Morgan Freeman was in this one, too.
I hated Bruce Almighty, but I watched this because I like Steve Carrell. It was okay, enjoyable enough. It's a good family film, I think kids would love it.
I knew what I was getting into by watching this movie, so I watched it knowing that it was not going to get to Buce Almighty standards. That aside, I think Steve Carell and Wanda Sykes are great comedians and they always make me laugh no matter how bad the script is. Plus, Morgan Freeman helps any movie even if it is just a little bit.
actually, i was surprised by this movie; much better than the first. parts were just stupid, but most was pretty funny. and it astonishingly had a somewhat profound moment.

Kisah Evan Baxter yg terpilih sebagai Anggota Kongress, yg ingin 'mengubah dunia' tapi ternyata Allah juga memilih dia untuk 'mengubah dunia' denagn cara Allah.
Terjemahkan film ini sebagai film dan bukan kisah Alkitab. karena memang film ini berbeda dengan kisah Alkitab.
I liked Evan Almighty better than it's predecessor Bruce Almighty. While not quite as humorous as I would have liked, this is a very watchable and enjoyable movie that your entire family can watch together.
With such low ratings by the critics I expected little from this movie but discovered much. I rarely hear an audience of adults laughing out loud repeatedly during a movie -- Evan Almighty did this! How? With impressive computer graphic generated animal sight gags, with near perfect timing, especially by Wanda Sykes who played Rita, and by Morgan Freeman who has now officially replaced George Burns as God. You will laugh, you will cry, you will not be sorry you went to this movie unless . . . you have a bias against religion (as many critics do); you will resent this movie deeply as it dares to suggest there is a spiritual side of life -- so don't go and say negative things as it wasn't meant for you.
