There's very little information you get out of this documentary - or actually too much for just enjoying the pictures and too few to learn something new, but the photography is so absolutely stunning it's definitely worth a watch and best on a big cinema screen.
One Word For This Movie:
Borrrrrrrrrrrrrrring!
I Was Hoping For Something Like ''March Of The Penguins''. But Insted I Get A HUGE Dissaportment!
Well I think I was the only one in the theater that didn't fall asleep... so.... whatever that means...

This comprehensive presentation of images from the world's oceans, gathered over years of filming, plunges the audience into the spectacle of the seas. Viewers embark on a journey from the shallowest coral reefs to the barren shores of the Antarctic and from the vast stretches of the open ocean to the nocturnal landscapes of the ocean's deepest chasms.
My favorite part was when the school of fish started getting devoured by just about every known predator of the sea, and then those predators started to devour each other too. Then the annoying loser next to me started annoying the hell out of me. Bah.
Beautiful movie. You get to see alot of different types of creatures from the ocean, many of them rare.. I love the way they filmed this.. You feel like you're swimming right alongside them!
Good, Everything his so beautiful, I loved it.
I can also tell you I'v been the first on Flixster to rate this.
I was required to see this film for school, and well, I fell asleep in the theater. It's the only time ever that it has happeened, and probably the only time it ever will. I love sharks and I love the ocean, but between the slow motion and the narrarator's voice and the depressing music, well, it just happened. It might be a good documentary, I don't really remember, but what I saw just bored me.
If you like documentaries, this is one I would recommend. Man, there is some CRAZY shit in the ocean.

I am a big sucker for natural History and this movie (edited from the BBC's Blue Planet series) transforms the traditional documentary format to the big screen with a little help from the perfectly cast voice of Micheal Gambon
This board looks lonely. Be the first to talk about "Deep Blue" !
