Is there a Meg Ryan film that isn't good. Oh yeah, Joe vs the Volcano. Anice little film with Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage. Probably one of Nicks more heartwarming movies.

Love this movie,it is one of my all time favs! I bought it and watch all the time and it never gets old and always makes me cry. I even have the movie on tape that inspired this movie(Wings Of desire)!

This is a beautiful and different style of romance story. If you like Ghost, you might consider this. Of course, Ghost is better and more original.
Meg Ryan is quite beautiful, she can act very well. It isn't very hard for Oscar winner Nicolas Cage to portray such a role.

This is a very romantic movie with two very talented actors, however it is also very predictable. Still, this movie is worth watching. The storyline had a good idea behind it, but I did not feel they took it as far as they could have.

There's really nothing to it, is there?... Yeah, ok, an angels falls madly in love with a mortal, and I must admit that's not the kind of thing we see happening everyday, but... Besides that, what have we got here?... Ehr... Not much,right?... I mean, they talk, and talk, and hang around the library, and talk, and talk, and go fruit shopping, and talk, and talk, and stare at each other, and talk a little more, and cry, and argue, and... finally comes an interesting scene to break the dullness, and then... What was it, really?... Oh, that's right... They kiss, and cuddle, and talk, and talk, and... Yep, a love story pretty much like all the rest, except that he's an angel instead of a human being. And that's really the only original thing about this movie. And also what saved it from an even lower rating. -

they really don't look good together, their relationship was even doomed from the start. this is a very sad love story, but one that would make you want to watch it again and again and again.

Nowhere near the amazing and perfect beauty, acting and cinematography of Wim Wenders classic original masterpiece of 1987. This remake is almost identical and the climax of the film is somewhat stupid and dissapointing.

I do love the beauty of this movie and the depth it speaks of ...
I do confess to not liking the ending as I felt it would have been better if they simply ended it with her and the truck, no more words spoken, no funerals shown, no diving into the ocean ... but that is just my opinion.

The main song in the song would be "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls. Theres also Sara McLaughlin's "Arms of an angel"

He literally "falls" in love with her. He gives up everything to be with her and in return only gets a short amount of time with her. She in turn has every belief that she clings to turned upside down. They both have to make an adjustment. The ending may be sad but really it is a lesson that you need to rember what time you have sith someone and make the most of it because you don't know how long you really have.
