This movie was outstanding.I like Giovanni Ribsi more and more every movie I see him in.His performance here was incredible.Such an incredible plot I thought this was a true story.A stellar cast ,yet in a funny way unlikely, mainly speaking of Jaime Kennedy, but in the screwball way they all fit.Amazing flick,Highly recommended!

Terrific movie. To begin with, this film was "tight" in terms of structure. Not only that, it gave such a gripping take on the dark side of corporate life and progressed smoothly from start to finish. You'll literally be held at the throat with just how engaging this well-paced movie is. Next off, the script was very well made and effectively made this film all the more convincing. Lastly, the entire cast gave such great performances, especially Giovanni Ribisi who practically outshone all of his cast members with his deeply poignant acting.

One of the movies that I quote the most. I loved everything about this movie. The score, cinematography, settings, actors. Ben Younger is going to be directing for quite some time.

entertaining. probably Ribisi's best role. he plays the con artist well. the best part of this movie are the few random pep talks from benny affleck maybe has about three scenes pure ego. worth seeing if you're into stocks and scamming people.

A great movie, with an outstanding performace by Giovanni Ribisi. A rather intense movie about a somewhat boring subject, the stock market. This movie survives Scott Cann, it features a great cameo like appearence from Ben Affleck, and is the best role I've seen for Vin Diesel. But what holds this film together is the vulnarabilty of Ribisi. I don't think this movie could stand without him.

A fairly lame and predictable movie that is saved by the very good performance of Giovanni Ribisi. Attempts to be this generations "Wall Street", but the comparison is shameful.

Great film. If your in sales and you have ever been to a training session where someone went through the whole ABC (Always Be Closing) then you will appreciate this even more. Good thriller regardless though

A good film about a young man who deams of making it big as a stock broker and wanting a big house, a woman and a great life gets sucked into thew new stock brokerage firm that make promises to their clients and then lie to them and destroy their lives by stealing their money. some can handle while others can't andwould see their lievs go out of control and their families and friends will be destroyed cause of their concious to do the right thing. A very well acted film especially from vin diesel, giovanni ribisi and ben affleck in a wonderful slimy cameo appearance as the head of the stock brokerage.

besides a good story and acting the film is a bit marred due to cliches to the screeenplay and some dull moments.

a good but not great film. worth watching

A very smart film that is a little complicated tro understand upon first viewing but extremely entertaining. The only down fall, THE ENDING. Just get the DVD and check out the Original ending. I personally think it's MUCH better.

Great, intense, cut-throat sales movie. A young entrepreneuer tries to please his Dr. father by becoming a stock broker, just to find out that aren't always as they seem. Excellent performances by Ribisi, Diesel & (get this) Ben Affleck (he's seriously good in this film! Although he has a small role). It's cool & it's fun - with a decent moral lesson to boot. The edited version is highly reccomended, as the original is said to loaded with heavy foul language.

The intense soundtrack of Boiler Room is a fitting underscore for this movie, which pulses with the vigor of young, rich, amoral men wreaking havoc.

Awesome Giovanni Ribisi and good other cast. But nothing beats Glen Gary Glenn Ross for a motivational speech on sales.

As a salesperson, I can see a lot of normal life in this movie. It does go over the top, but that's how I understand stock trading can be. Giovanni Ribisi, Nicky Katt, and Vin Diesel put in decent performances and seem to be having fun. The movie breaks down a bit when it goes off the right vs wrong of sales and into personal relationships. If you liked Glengarry Glen Ross, this is a movie to watch.

This was a nice movie - I really dug the fast-paced, money loving main characters and how they tackled their moral problems (or for some, how they didn't).

An interesting drama about illicit stock trading in which Giovanni Ribisi's life spirals out of control when greed and pressure from his peers takes hold in a kind of contemporary Wall Street. Vin Diesel takes time out from his action man roles, and is actually pretty damn good.

    English review following.
--» A little afternoon movie, that talks again and again of greed and the envy of becoming billionaire. We know from the start that something bad will happen, and that it will end so-so, with a little moral.
