MCT:August 9, 2007I fondly remember rewinding one scene over and over again and laughing 'till I hurt. I watched this with my friends Catherine and Mark Gregoire in grade 2... and there's a scene where a dog rolls (inner tube style) down a road... we thought it was brilliant... then we ate Fruit Loops... then the sleep over was over, and I had to go home. Boo-urns.

Loved this movie when I was a kid. That whole kitchy 70's family feel to this movie really dates it, but it still is cute. Soundtrack is pretty memorable.

I"ve seen most of it on TCM. I'd really like to see the whole thing. I love all the other Benji movies. Plus, I'm a sucker for dog movies.

The acting is pretty bad but Benjis acting was better than his human costars. He has got to be the most talented dog ever to hit the screen. The director did a fantastic job and his directing with Benji makes it seem as if you can feel exactly what Benji is feeling. I think it is a fantastic film and that all children should watch it. How could you resist that dogs adorable face.
