    Purvis: [shouting] What's in-fucking-side me?
Ripley: There's a monster in your chest. These guys hijacked your ship, and they sold your cryo tube to this... human. And he put an alien inside of you. It's a really nasty one. And in a few hours it's gonna burst its way through your ribcage. And you're gonna die. Any questions?
    Purvis: Who are you?
    Ripley: I'm the monster's mother.

200 years after her death, Ellen Ripley is revived as a powerful human/Alien hybrid clone who must continue her war against the Aliens.

Sigourney Weaver: Ellen Ripley, the hero is back from the dead, Sigourney is darker and more interesting than ever before. Her cold merciless alien-like behavior in her role is to be marveled at.

Winona Ryder: Annalee Call, good to see Winona acting again and not getting up to other activities in real life.

    Dominique Pinon: Vriess

Ron Perlman: Johner, the funny looking Ron with a mercenary role.

    Gary Dourdan: Christie

    Michael Wincott: Frank Elgyn

    Kim Flowers: Sabra Hillard

    Dan Hedaya: Gen. Martin Perez

    J.E. Freeman: Dr. Mason Wren

Brad Dourif: Dr. Jonathan Gediman, Was pleased to see Brad in this, he's picked some unusual roles and is always a pleasure to watch.

    Raymond Cruz: Vincent Distephano

    Leland Orser: Larry Purvis

This is film surprisingly isn't as bad as expected. A definite improvement to Alien 3 with a more involving story.

Sounds and music are tense, the scenes are graphic and a good amount of gore.
Some fresh ideas such as the alien's underwater which was original. A few twists around, and a new breed of Alien that results in rejection and an ultimate conclusion.

I do have qualms however with the ending which kind of didn't conclude things well enough.
Also some area's were very reminiscent and repeating of the first three movies.

All in all it's dark and mostly satisfying. With some great ideas and action that keeps you interested.

    Ripley really is back.

Next to Alien 3, Alien Ressurection is by far the worst of the monstrous series. The plot is set far in the future to Alien 3 and once more Sigourney Weaver reprises her famed role, only now there are added deviations to her characters persona. The main faults with Alien Ressurection is that it is a film that tries too hard with it's aspects and when a film is overdone - it is apparent. The acting and plot of this are conveyed poorly with a tone that strays far from the excellent Aliens, directed by James Cameron, and due to this we are left with a film that ultimately has little substance in a cliche' story arch. There was potential for this to work but with the main elements of "escape the ship before the Aliens arrive on Earth" becomes very tedious. Brownie points go to the popcorn factor of the film and the fact that it managed to step back up from Alien 3.

This movie is very different from it's predecessors, better than Alien 3, but not as good as the second one, Aliens.

With so many unexplored plot lines in the previous three movies, why did they have to jump far into the future and eliminate the previously developed world. As much as I -=LOVED=- 2 and 3, this was a total disappointment. Better to retire the series then have made this piece of crap!

Return to form for the Alien series, although it doesn't quite match up to Aliens (the smugglers are no substitute for the marines).

The forth and (hopefully not) final film in the alien series is a gory one. If you are squemish then you will need a bucket or two for this. If you thought The Punisher was violent, you will be shocked with the horror of Alien Resurrection. My kind of film.
