A pretty well drama about the background of one of the world`s most influncing singers ( although I am not into rap very much but it works very great with others especialy his songs). Anyway, the acting is the best thing in the whole movie and EMINEM surprisengly did well so as the other actors like Kim Basinger and Mekhi Phifer. I am usually against singers turned actors movies but this one just went great and had its moments especialy the rap battels and the song ROXX. The ending was okay but the problem that it came suddenly with no warnings that was bad for me but it didnot ruin the movie for me at least. A NICE RENTAL.

With an excellent ensemble of supporting actors that lets Eminem capably carry the film, gritty atmosphere, and fantastic freestyle rap battles, 8 Mile rises above its familiar premise to be one of the very best dramas in past ten years.

good in my opinion it is a good one and pretty film, aside from which the actor is eminem, aside from being one of the best white American rappers, also is it like actor. fantastic film eminem, you are the best one if.

what a great storyline...a financially struggling man who is eventually able to both make a better life for his depressed mother, his young, neglected sister, and himself...by using his biggest asset- his rapping and rhyme skills, and to overcome his own personal fears and struggles. it's about overcoming any kind of adversity using what natural talents you got. what a great message. love the soundtrack, by the way.
