My movies (the ones I own)

Yeah this is a list of the movies I own... yes, I own some that I have never seen! they are in alphabetical order, cept in the cases where there are sequels or whatever that are alphabetically before the first in the series, in that case, the later ones in the series are put in numerical order over alphabetical... hope that wasn't too confusing... I also do not count "The" or "A" when putting them in order..... TO BE CONTINUED

Although Johnny and Charlize's acting try to make this movie something more, the movie falls short. It's bland and predictable and the effects are laughable.

I own this movie! It's just great, especially since I come from the country, it just seems like some of the things they do, some of my family would be bound to do!

Beyond the Gates (Shooting Dogs) 3.5 Stars
The major problem with this movie is that it moves very slowly. I realize that it kind of makes the movie more realistic, in that it shows the agonizing wait the people felt, the long hours of fear. Still, it doesn't make for a very watchable movie when it goes slow and drags out everything. I did feel that the performaces were very well done, and the story is definitely touching.

Blood Diamond (2006,  R)
Blood Diamond 4.0 Stars
Though at times predictable, it's a good movie. The performances are great, DiCaprio and Hounsou are solid actors, but Connelly just annoys me. It's a weird exchange between Connelly and DiCaprio at time, and that's a major section of the "predictable" part. I think the movie does a good job of putting an issue that is not often talked about into the world's face (that of blood diamonds). The part about Solomon's family is predictable too, and maybe it should have been different, but at least it ended sort of "happily," and besides, Djimon Hounsou puts feeling into his role, so we get how much his family means to him, but maybe we should have seen more from the family's point of view, so we could relate to their plight more. Once again, it's a good movie.

p.s. James Purefoy isn't in it. (Flixster's movie profile says he is.)

I have defended this movie to no end. I love it. It's a truly touching story about forbidden love. The acting was great all around, and the cinematography was breath taking.

I love all the mixture of bedtime stories and fables! Heath is completely not like himself and Matt does a cocky older brother well, lmao! If you like fantasy and/or the actors, I'd recommend it.

I really enjoyed this movie! Craig's Bond is much more human, with faults and impulses. He's still charming and handy with gadgets and killing. I think it's definately worth seeing!

Maybe it was just because I first saw the original when I was young, ,but the Oompa Loompas always freak me out in the original. I, however, like the oompas in this one! Depp is wonderfully odd i feel and Freddie Highmore once again shows his acting ability at such a young age...
