Plain and simple, I love this movie. I have a smile on my face for the whole movie. The Director's Cut is even better, 40 more minutes of genius, not a dull moment. Tiny Dancer sing-a-long is one of the best scenes in the history of cinema. |

Alpha Dog (2006, R)
I'm watching the movie and I'm thinking that it's pretty decent. Good story, good acting by most. A solid 3.5 star rating, easy. But, then my distain Emile Hirsch creeps in. I've never cared for him much, and I certainly didn't by him as a tough guy. And then I see Sharon Stone wearing Gwyneth Paltrow's fat suit from Shallow Hal, rating down to a 3. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Lukas Haas, The Pin himself, shows up, back to a 3.5. The dude almost makes it worthy of a 4, almost. |
