Definitely the funniest out of all the Scary Movies. Probably the only one I'll put on any of my lists.
Anna Faris just looks hot with dark hair.

Smokin' Aces (2007,  R)
Smokin' Aces 2.0 Stars
This film starts out kind of slow yet interesting, then becomes quite intriguing with it's several colorful competing factions and independent characters. (Ryan Reynolds continues to shine).
The movie continues to build on that notion, further developing it's key characters and showcasing some kick-ass action sequences. All is great until the very forced and completely obvious flawed ending. I don't want to give away the ending, however if you do see this movie, ask yourself "If this case is SO important, Where are the guards? And more importantly why in the hell did Andy Garcia's character just walk away?" These are inexcusably forced plot points that are even evident in it's first viewing.
Poor endings ruin good movies...period!!

Dazzling!!
Sam Raimi once again proves he is the right (possible the only) person to direct the Spider-Man movies.
The only complaint, the movie trailers showed too much. Take for examples, when Harry Osborn becomes scarred and how Eddie Brock becomes Venom both plainly seen in the trailers. Both of which could have been nice plot points, now became expected and predictable.
None-the-less a great film from a great director based on a great character!!
Bring on Spider-Man 4!!

Stay Alive (2006,  PG-13)
Stay Alive 3.0 Stars
Not an original idea, but for what it's worth - the backstory makes for a pretty intertaining "horror" movie. The concept of the film is pretty much a rip-off of "The Ring", even down to the very ending.
The film really peaks during the last 20 minutes, which showcases the true potential this film had.
[This rating is for the theatical version]
(The DVD authoring/transfer of the Unrated version is horribly aweful, one of the worst looking and sounding DVD's ever. Even the quality of some 1st generation DVD's are better than this Rush Job!)

Strange Wilderness (2008,  R)
Strange Wilderness 2.5 Stars
Strange Wilderness has a great premise and with an awesome comedic cast like this you'd think it would be quite the treat.
With some geniune moments this movie is mostly a misfiring raunchfest.
Steve Zahn's talent is only slightly utilized, Justin Long proves that he's not just that guy in those Mac commercials, and Robert Patrick with his deformed genitals can steal a scene in a comedy!

DVD WORHTY:
Only if your a fan of post American Pie raunchy movies and/or a collector of Happy Madison films (if such collectors even exist).

Hi-DEF WORTHY:
Not even Ashley Scott's hottness can make this Hi-Def Worthy.

This film is kind of hard to classify, rate, or even write what it's really about. But whatever it is, I like it!
An extremely unique idea, however not exactly executed flawlessly.
However I thought it was quit creative how the author summed up the ending for the main character.

CG animation now-a-days can be completely amazing, some of the details especially the water in this film are awesome and extremely life like.
The story is not as awesome as the animation, however is quite heart warming, features memorable funny characters and makes for a pretty good family viewing.
