i went into watching this flick not expecting much at all it some things going aganst it already 1 it was from the dude who co directed blair witch so i was thinking how the hell is he going to do a real non docu style flick? and 2 rogue pictures droped it from theaters to a no frills dvd but im open minded so i said what the hell and fuck dude it was GREAT great acting great shots and great tension sure the alien looked creeper covered up but hey still was a trippy movie and otis did give some good comic moments "hey man...can...can you check me for one of them clicker things too?" so if you see it out there GET IT!!!

ah.... john carpenter's film filmed in widescreen wonderful! and you can truly see where his love started it seems the two major films that influinsed this were rio bravo and night of the living dead and he combined it with good old fashion 70s low budget action! and the brith in a way of snake plisken if you look at the main guy for a few seconds... sure might be a little corny why they have to stop but hey its still a great film with one of the most shocking moments... i tell ya they never shot a little girl in the remake and unlike the remake this DIDNT!!! fallow the hollywood deal of bad cops bravo john bravo!

crapy remake......they fade like every other action movie out there....but it did havt a good cast in alota ways so i will rate it decently for that

it wasnt bad but it wasnt truly good eather....wesley...you can tell he didnt care about this movie much just by looking at him in it....the true stars were ryan reynolds and jessica biel and parker posey steals the scenes with her in them but not as much as ryan just takes it fucking over!

lets start by stating....THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST FILM MADE LIKE THIS!!!! the first one to truly do it was cannibal holocast... its not bad it is a little creepy in parts and the ending was very cool tenson got high wich was cool when they argued becuase if ya think about it,....what els is there to do when your lost...no one stays nice... but why i hate it? soooo many knock offs after wards.... made for faaar less money can you beleave it was made for 70 or so grand?! i thought at most when i first saw it it made for grand at the most...

truly underrated i always felt yeah its nothing like the first but unlike the first this IS based off a true story so it kinda makes you wonder shit... very well acted too
