I just can say one word after watching this movie : Magnificent!!! Terrific!!! It's the most brilliant, enjoyable, fun, entertaining, and powerful animation movie... Even the conversation in this movie was very little, but it still enjoyable to be watched... Especially Wall-E itself, I don't know should call it smart or fool, but I just can say that it is ridiculous and funny... The story of this movie was really really simple, but how to turn it into a wonderful story is a terrific job... The animation in this movie was brilliant, never seen an animation movie draws the earth so clearly like this movie... Yet, the theme Global Warming showed by this movie was great, it perfect for kids so they can know and learn how to stop it before the earth become like what it's draw in this movie? The love story itself even looks like ridiculous, but it is the one who make this movie so funny? So far, I can say that Wall-E is the best Disney Pixar movie?

I just can say WOW... This is the coolest, smartest, and best Batman movie ever!!!! Christopher Nolan's directing style was absolutely brilliant... Yet, he can make this multi character movie turns into a great movie... From the Batman himself, Christian Bale, he's been great here... He improved his acting a lot since his first stealing attention performance in American Psycho... Especially for his voice, with a heavy voice like that, Batman looks more humanity.... Then Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent or Two-Face, he's been great playing them... Too bad Two-Face appearance in this movie just a little, if he's come out more faster, this movie could be so much more interesting... Maggie Gyllenhaal shows that she isn't a sweetener for this movie.. Her performance was much much better than Katie Holmes did in 'Batman Begins'.. The senior actors were doing brilliant job too, they just looks like that they don't want to lose by their youngsters... Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Michael Caine, all of them shows the charisma they got... But I must admit that the stars of this movie is definitely Heath Ledger... He creates a new version of Joker, which is in this movie is very scary for me... His performances was one of the best villain performances I've ever seen... Very brilliant!!! From his face, his voice, his laugh, all of them just looks scary enough for me... Maybe Heath Ledger deserved an Oscar nominee in this movie for his strong performance as a psychopath killer named Joker... The score, they were great too... Too bad they play it in low volume so it just can be heard only a little part of it... The special effects in this movie were amazing too... They great, really great... I don't know is this movie can become the 'black horse' in next year Academy Awards? Or it will be the highest grossing movie ever in the U.S. history??? After all, I must admit that this is a very great, yet brilliant movie... It is not a money mistaken if you watch this movie more than one in theaters because this movie really deserved it...

Well, this movie actually my most wanted watched movies for this summer... But after what I see in about more than 2 hours is just another different story from the book... I know that Andrew Adamson might change the story but not all good... The battle becomes too many, so it just not titled for kids... And the love story between Susan and Caspian, that's a little ridiculous... Maybe some changes were good, but some are just felt like it was unnecessary... If that part doesn't exist, so it won't affect the story... A little too dramatic I guess.. But two big thumbs up for the visual effects... Until now it is the front runners for Oscar Best Visual Effects... So natural and amazing... Just hoped that the third movie will do a lot better than this because even I like it, it is because of the story from the book plus the great effects they have... I think the first movie was better, but don't know why I still gave more great rating to this movie....

A really great visionary from director Guillermo Del Toro since Pan's Labyrinth... Hellboy II can be clearly said better than the first one... Ron Perlman and Doug Jones really gave a strong performance as Hellboy and Abe Sapien, while Selma Blair moved up to the next level to not become a sweetener again to this movie... Creatures and monsters created in this movie were totally awesome, they scary but great... Even there so many unreasonable things in this movie, but this superhero movie awesome me a lot... Combining the saving human thing with a little humor in that, were totally awesome, which is make the watchers won't get bored even they got too many action scenes.. And, an unpredictable ending I think... Makes me questioning a lot, are Guillermo plans the third movie for this??? I hope the answer is yes because I even more like Hellboy now, he's awesome...

Definitely more cool than the first one!! The dance thing showed in this movie were absolutely brilliant... Really loves it... Briana Evigan and Robert Hoffman made a pretty good combination for the dance here, just see how they move not how the act... Since the beginning of the movie, this movie already amazed me... The dance in the train, then battle between Channing Tatum and Briana Evigan, until the last performance in the middle of the rain, it just really really amazed me a lot... I wonder how they could dance like that and the idea to dance under the rain were absolutely brilliant... The music here really cool... It's all makes you want to shake your body... And the sound mixing and sound editing were great I think for a movie like this... The dance rhythm and the music were blend perfectly so it is enjoyable to watch... A great dance movie, really great... Can't wait to see the third movie...

A great Asian movie about mixing Kungfu and Basketball... This movie was so cool... Jay Chou shows again his great acting... He is really the brightest young actor in the Asia right now... The basketball play was pretty cool.. They have great impossible move... Love that... And the story, it's funny.... The song, Jay Chou is really a talented one... And the effects when Shi-Jie freezing time, it's so damn cool... Really needed to watch it again because the subtitle wasn't right...

Another great movie in the year 2008... so far 2 movies watched, and both of them were great... 10,000 B.C. can't be compared to 300 because the story was different... Both has a simple story, save the city and save the woman. But both of them has a great visual effects.... Roland Emmerich did impress me again in this movie after Independence Day, Godzilla, and The Day After Tomorrow.... The four of them has a very very great visual effects... Forget about the other unreasonable thing in this movie like how can they already used English in that time?? And how can they have horses, armors, ship, and others thing but just look for the great visual effects this movie has... How they make the battle, the animals, the costumes, make up... It was great... Worth to watch! An entertaining one!

The first 2008 movies I've seen... For me, it's great to start 2008 with a movie like this... Even i don't like Mr. & Mrs. Smith but i enjoyed this one... The story was kinda original i think... Choosing Hayden Christensen for the main role of this movie is a perfect choice... His act wasn't that bad at all, yet to me his performance was cool... And choosing Jamie 'Billy Elliott' Bell to support Hayden is great choice... Samuel L. Jackson makes a perfect cast for this movie... But Rachel Bilson is the weaker point of this movie, just like Katie Holmes in Batman Begins... To me, she's a bad cast.... Last word, this movie is so cool and entertaining! A really worth movie to watch...

I just can say WOW after watching this movie... J.J. Abrams surely wants to make us try for something now about type of disaster movies... The movie itself got a lot of unreasonable thing like what type of video got to stand for seven til' eight hours for documenting the whole movie?? What about the battery?? Shouldn't it only will lasts for some hours?? And the tape?? How can they didn't change the tape for that long because there's no tape can save a lot of movies for that hours... But beyond that all, this movie is really terrifying... It just makes you breath hard.. The video camera thing is just like try to get you got into the movie, feels what they feels at that moment and it works for me.. It just frightened me from when after the monster appeared.. Even the monster itself doesn't clearly like where it's come from or how can it suddenly appeared and attack the city... It's hard to compare it with Godzilla.. For the frightened thing, I think Cloverfield just won... It really frightens me out... But for the whole creatures thing or how can they get rid of the monster, Godzilla wins... And I'm pretty expecting a sequel for this movie.. Because I was wondering how brilliant would the story will be if they decided to make a sequel for this movie... Great movie from J.J. Abrams!!

Since I know the plot of this movie, I wanted to see this movie... This movie really have the same plot in 'How I Met Your Mother' the TV show, but it still tastes differently.... Ryan Reynolds as the main character has put a good performance, and so are the three beautiful lady, Elizabeth Banks, Isla Fisher, and Rachel Weisz, yet Abigail Breslin stills charming in her age... I love the story they make, even the theme is romantic movie but they put in a good way to reverse it... Same good as 'How I Met Your Mother', because it's still hard to guess who the girl the main character will marry later... The differences just in the clues, in the TV series, it's more comedy but so hard to guess, but really really fun... Yet in this movie, there been several clues from the beginning of this movie if you're watching carefully, so you can guess who is the mother... A really interesting movie anyway...

An entertaining Hollywood movie with Asian actors... Very great that Hollywood can make 2 biggest actor in Asia, Jackie Chan and Jet Li, teamed for a movie based on a fairy tale... And yet, they got a lot of Asian people too... Too bad, it's an Hollywood movie... In my thought, it would be the best if this movie worked by an Asian people because it's the movie about Asian people u know... U should give it to the people who are told in that story, not to a foreigner... Because it's kinda weird watching Jet Li and Jackie Chan speaking English while they're played a character who lived a very very long time ago... Their English weren't good... But it's great that Rob Minkoff can get 2 beautiful lady to join in this journey... Liu Yifei and Li Bingbing are very very beautiful!!! They're ready to become the next Asian hit... Love them!!!

A good start to enjoying summer movies... I know that it is pretty difficult to make a great first movie of the superhero because usually the born of a superhero is pretty boring... But not for this movie, Jon Favreau and Robert Downey Jr. had make this movie become interesting to watch... The director of Elf and Zathura did a pretty good job by putting some humor in this movie which is rarely seen in most superhero movie... About the technology, u can't complaint about it... It is the best u can got if it's was real... First hearing when Robert Downey Jr. chosen to be Iron Man, I'm not pretty sure he doin' good and this movie will not great as another superhero movie... But after seeing this movie, I was wrong... I thought there is no other actors can 'build' Iron Man except Robert Downey Jr. He's incredible... I'm pretty shocked, besides of his serious looking face, he has a good sense of humor too.... And choosing Gwyneth Paltrow to accompanying him was pretty good... She proves that even this is just a box-office movie, but she didn't act ordinary.. Because she's an Oscar winning actress, and luckily she knows that.... Terrence Howard still impress me... He's great... Even his face looks always same in all of his movie, but he is a talented young actor... I'm sure he can do a lot better in the future... And another star of this movie is Jeff Bridges... He's brilliant... I even can't recognize him because he's bald... Last time I saw his performance in The Squid And The Whale and it was a pretty good performance... More great than Spacey's Lex Luthor in Superman Returns... And the ending, it's pretty surprise that Tony Stark wants the world to know that he is Iron Man... Surely can't wait for its sequel...

Great... A new icon, a drunk ass superhero with his destructive helping... Will Smith shows a great performance as Hancock, the superhero that everybody will love... Charlize Theron wants to show us that she isn't a sweetener in this movie, but the story told different... Jason Bateman at least shows a better performance than the one he does in Juno... Overall, love this new superhero icon that more humanity.. Just disappointed with a ridiculous ending for me... Two thumbs up for Will Smith!

I just can say that this one is one of the funniest movie in 2008 I've already seen... The story about a funny secret agent played was doing okay... Steve Carell still doing his own comedy in this movie, some are funny but some just not... Anne Hathaway herself just try to put on some good performances here, but that weren't good enough I think... But after all, this movie only want to entertain us... And for me, it's pretty working... I laughed out loud in this movie...

I haven't read the book before I saw the movie because I know that if I read the book first, I could be disappointed by what they intercepts the story inside the book into a movie because some of the fantasy story end up like that... And what I see for about only 90 minutes is a great story about fantasy, about seeing magical things that weren't real... The special effects for this movie was great, not outstanding but great... It's perfectly fit for a children movie... The story itself just okay, but still thrilled me on the end... Freddie Highmore plays great as the twins Jared and Simon, even that his age doesn't perfectly fit for the role, but his physic says that he fit.. Just another great children fantasy movie...

Since I know that this movie is directed by Hanung Bramantyo, who is my favorite director, I know that this movie will be turn into something special... The stars played in this movie were doing a great job, yet the setting that should be in Egypt, can be turn into 'Egypt' without the crews need to be going to Egypt... This movie just different from other Indonesian movie, really worth to watch...

An entertaining movie, but too bad it should be titled 'Die Hard in the Ocean' or something like that because Matthew McConaughey character was so damn to be dead... He's like John McClane in the Die Hard series... His act wasn't good at all... At least, it's pretty winning for this kind of movie... And Kate Hudson, she's not helping herself by playing over and over a romantic comedy like this... She just don't show her Oscar quality acting like she once had in Almost Famous... The story itself just ordinary, nothing too special.. And there's so many illogical thing in this movie, but it just fine... Because this movie just want to entertain us... But the treasure, it's just wow... great... great to make a story like that...

The movie was really funny... It just looks like the Eurotrip that been blown up into a Roadtrip... John Cho and Kal Penn show again how funny they two can be... The story was a okay for me, with some rude scenes out there and some sarcastic humor... Once again, it's a nice movie for releasing your stress... Just one thing that the title Escape From Guantanamo Bay was a bad and wrong title for that, they even not been a day in there...

Actually, it was a funny movie... I laughed pretty much in this movie... But if it's compared to Disney/Pixar project or Ghibli's animation, it still one level below... The animation given in this movie were great I think... The emotion showed by the character, the incredible voice cast, and a great score... But I still think that if Hollywood wants to make a movie about China, they shouldn't make it for half and a half... They should give it to the people who knows China better, and the most thing that Hollywood forgot : the language!!! That thing always disturbs me when I saw a Hollywood movie that tells about China but they always use an English language like people of China in the past already use an English language as their everyday language... A good animation movie I think, especially the animation, they were brilliant for me... But if it's compared to the story, it just an ordinary and try-to-making-people-laugh story... Nothing special...

I didn't thought that this movie is based on a comic.... The story just great about an assassin's son who been trained to be an assassin likes his father to kill his father's killer but what happen then just really shocking... The effects thing were amazed me even it just looks simple... Timur Bekmambetov directing style were brilliant, especially in the scenes when the bullets come over from a faraway place... The soundtrack in this movie were nice too, they just blend in this movie... The performances from the cast were great too, as I must admit that it is a great job for the ones who been casting them... James McAvoy, Angelina Jolie, Terence Stamp, and Morgan Freeman, it was a brilliant cast anyway... A great movie for pump up the adrenaline...

I haven't seen the first movie, so I don't know the story very well, just read some movie magazines about the story of this movie... Actually, for a sequel, it's not pretty good... Especially, it's a superhero theme movie... This movie is too 'brutal', so I can't enjoy it very much... Most scenes are moving so fast, yet the cinematography was pretty bad... It just too fast and makes me a little confused while watching it because the angle wasn't pretty good, yet the scenes was moving so fast... Maybe if Paul Greengrass have that scenes, it would be very good because he did a great job in the scenes like this in 'The Bourne Ultimatum'... And choosing Edward Norton as Bruce Banner and Liv Tyler as Betty Ross wasn't a good cast... Even I don't watch the first movie, but I think people would remember Eric Bana as the Incredible Hulk, not Edward Norton... And Liv Tyler, she's pretty but forgettable...

I must admit that the first movie was better, but this one isn't a failure sequel... The story get a little confusing, combining 3 books into one movie is really a hard job to do... Not a bad story, just a little ordinary, nothing special on it... The cast did a pretty good job than in the first movie because they're grow older and their act was getting better and better... Too bad this is the end of the story of Sisterhood of Traveling Pants... Truthfully, I want to see them again together, at least in another movie...

Actually, it's been a pretty good movie... Not brilliant as I thought it would be, but it just okay... Story about five students who've been used by their own teacher to counting the cards in Black Jack to got a lot money... Maybe it just an ordinary story, nothing special about it... The cool thing about this movie is when they started to counting cards and started gambling, I just felt like I'm there playing with them... And a twist given at the ending were just okay... Jim Sturgess looks really cool in this movie... A pretty good movie to watch...

What a funny movie! Eva Longoria sure can make all of us laugh out loud... Previously, I wouldn't buy this movie because it doesn't look like an interesting one... Maybe just because they had Eva Longoria is one of the reason I watched this movie, but truthfully this movie was very funny... I think it's the comedy version of 'Ghost' but in the way of Eva Longoria... No wonder she become the main actress because she dictating this movie... Love her performance, it bring back memories her act in 'Desperate Housewives'... And Paul Rudd, Lake Bell, with Jason Biggs just an add for this movie... With or without them, I think the movie still stays the same... There would be no change... Just can't replace Longoria, she's great... And this movie had a pretty good choice of song too...

What a nice movie about wedding! Katherine Heigl is magnificent! So does James Marsden... They two look great as a couple... The story was ordinary, but Heigl makes it extraordinary... She's beautiful as a bridesmaid, so does when she becomes the bride... I love all the costumes, for me it's great and fun... Great romantic comedy!

A pretty good movie about friendship between a boy with the alien... When it comes to the end, it's so sad... Stephen Chow did a pretty good job again this time... And he choose a pretty good cast... And the aliens, oh it's so cute... It doesn't look like an alien, it's more like a doll with very cute... For me, it's like the combination of Flubber and Chicken Little... A pretty good movie to watch!!!

I read the novel first, and I'm amazed by that... But with the movie, I'm just get a little disappointed... The acting from the stars didn't grow well, just Sophan Sophiaan and Widyawati acting that amazed me... The others just show a standard, yet an under performance in this movie.. Fauzi Baadila is too 'kaku', yet Acha Septriasa's act didn't show that she is Sundanese... She didn't have the accent of Sundanese, yet her acting just standard... I can't deny the fact that she's the weakest star in this movie... Surya Saputra, Wulan Guritno, and Luna Maya act just standard, it can be improved... Irwansyah, Laudya Chintya Bella, and Darius Sinarthya act was a little below the standard... Luckily, they have a great song, 'Sempurna by Gita Gutawa' is a great and perfect song for this movie... Overall, the novel is better than the movie, but it's a pleasure to see how it can be realized into a movie...

Well, actually this movie really tops my hot list of movies that released in summer this year after I saw how hilarious the trailer is and how it will be great to teamed up Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher here... But the fact is, what I saw for about 90 minutes is just an ordinary comedy using the popularity of the two main actors here, Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher... The story really really bad, it could have done a lot better than that... The comedy that given were funny, but it just looks like separated from the whole story... It just felt like they were there just because to make the movie more fun... Nothing special on that... A little disappointing I think... Cameron Diaz isn't a bad cast for this movie... At least she's still the lovely Cameron Diaz like I first saw in Charlie's Angels... But Ashton Kutcher, this movie didn't work a lot for him... His act is sucks, yet for me he is still too young to be stand against Cameron Diaz... Really a bad cast... After all, this movie really really want to give us some fun... But what happen is this movie is having fun for themselves, sometimes I really didn't get what is they wanted... Pretty disappointing I think...

I must say that this movie is a very unnecessary sequel... With Stephen Sommers not in the control for directing this third installment of The Mummy, a constrained story, wrong cast, with a wrong perception of history makes this movie not worth to watch...

First from the story... Moving the setting from Egypt into China maybe not a bad idea at all, but they didn't write a good story on it so it just feeling weird... Then a back off from Oscar winner Rachel Weisz as Evelyn O'Connell here is definitely a big miss... Maybe the first impression from Maria Bello for replacing Rachel Weisz was good, she gave a good hopes while reading the novel because her voice was clearly similar with Weisz voice... But what happen after is Maria Bello really really can't replace Rachel Weisz as Evelyn O'Connell in this movie... She doesn't have the beauty like Weisz, yet she wasn't sexy like Weisz, oh it just a wrong cast! Yet Luke Ford as Alex O'Connell didn't impress me a lot... He just looks like a young boy with a handsome face trapped in the desert of China with Mummy around him, and the fell in love thing with an Asian girl just embarrassing... Luke Ford and Isabella Leong didn't make a good chemistry at all... Then the star of this movie, Brendan Faser, looks like lose his charisma in this movie... He just didn't look old as the story told... Maybe his son was growing so vastly, but he didn't get old at all... Same to Evelyn O'Connell... Jet Li himself just didn't fit for the role as an Emperor... Maybe he was okay for being a Mummy, but not as an Emperor because he doesn't have the charisma he needed... Michelle Yeoh was the right cast for this movie... Knowing that she is still beautiful in her age and her experience was totally showed in this movie, she was great... Another appearance from John Hannah as Jonathan, Evelyn's brother, just feels unnecessary... He was funny in two mummy films before, but his appearance in this movie just feels unnecessary, really unnecessary at all... He wasn't funny and the scenes that contains only him which is should be funny, for me it just not funny at all... Yet the Yeti appearance in this movie with Isabella Leong can speak a Yeti language, just a weird appearance... Really weird, really nonsense...

Then another embarrassment for the language used in this movie... Maybe Hollywood should learn more that if they want to make a movie that set in Asia, they should use the language of the country they used... Like in this movie is China... Yes it's good that Rob Cohen still using a Chinese language in the explanation of what happened before, but when it comes back to nowadays I wonder even how can Emperor Jade that been cursed as a mummy for more than a thousand year can speak a little English in this movie??? That's nonsense!! Really nonsense! And for a movie setting in Asia, they have too many Hollywood face in here... The title itself just didn't match the story, they say it is Mummy but Emperor Jade himself just been cursed, not been made as a mummy like Imhotep in the first installment of Mummy...

The only great thing of this movie is the special effects they made... More great than the first two Mummy films before for the effects... After all, it's just a big budget blockbuster movie made for looking a profit from the previous movie... And watching from the last scene of this movie, I really really didn't hope another sequel for this movie....

Watch it on TV, and it's really full of censored so I didn't enjoy this movie as it should be... But what I see from the censored version, it just a brave Indonesian movie, but not great... Vino G. Bastian and Fahrani really shows their great acting in here, but the movie overall is just a usual movie... Should be done better...

Definitely not very funny, it's been a sarcastic humor for me... Not different from another same genre movie I've already watched before 'Epic Movie', but this one's a little better... Even that, I still didn't like this type of movie...
