He is definitely one of my favorites! Which of his movies did you like the best? I know he's done a lot of great movies that I haven't even seen(like Raging Bull) but a few that I like are:
Awakenings
Backdraft
Meet the Parents
Meet the Fockers
Sleepers

Yes, he was definitely good in Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers. I also quite liked Ronin.

He is just outstanding. Some of my favourites are Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, Heat, Casino, Jackie Brown and Men of Honour

I totally agree, he is the greatest actor to
have ever lived BUT not now. He is past his prime but IN his prime best by far. In my opinion anyway.

I don't think there is a more chameleon like actor in the world like De Niro. He can be a gangstar, a rapist, a cabbie, a boxer. Who else would put on 50 pounds for a role, or shave his hairline back?
