Hello. Now that we are pretty sure there is going to be a second film made, we can talk about that!! Who's excited? I know I am...
You can also come here to discuss anything else X-File-related... If you have a question about The X-Files, or something you'd like to discuss, post it here. ^_^
Aaaaawe, Hannah, I'll talk about X-Files with you. What's your favorite episode? I watched 'Fallen Angel' during my Myth & Culture class earlier this semester...it was an old one though, not as good as others I've seen.
I used to be a HUGE X-Files fane when I was younger. But I was ticked when Mulder left and so I didn't watch any of the seasons after that... I did see the last ep. and was thoroughly disapointed.
"How the Ghosts Stole Christmas" of course is my very favourite.
And then I also like "The Unnatural", "Arcadia", "Bad Blood", and then one that I thought was really good and creepy, and did not have Mulder in it: "Roadrunners"
And I like others of course, but mostly the ones mentioned above.
I used to love the x-files when it first started but its a classic case of people not knowing when to let it end! Three, maybe four seasons max then they should have let Mulder and Scully get together (for the fans) and then just be done with it!
I thought that it was a very good show, and was getting better. Then Mulder left, it stayed good for a few more episodes, and then it all went down hill from there.
I remember when I was about 11-12 years old I used to watch it every time it was on TV. Some episodes used to scare me a lot, like the one about when they were on the old ship and it made them get old very quickly or something. Also the one about little green insects was scary. I hardly remember any of it now, but I've still got a few memories of X-files.
They start calling eachother Dana and Fox (first names) rather than Scully and Mulder, in their e-mails. I didn't like that. You could tell that the end was near when they admitted that they loved eachother, and had a baby together.
But in the last episode, it was pretty clear that they were going to be together.
Aah, Hannah! I think everyone loves the X-files, it is just that they don't want to talk about it, or they don't know that the love it. Or they haven't seen it, but would love it if they did. The X-Files rocks my world. And my socks. My sockins are rockin!
I can honestly say that I watched every single episode of this series. I used to look forward to Sunday nights on FOX. I don't really know if I had a favorite episode, but I really enjoyed the earlier seasons the most. One episode that I'll, hopefully, always remember is the “Cops” episode (I think its called X-Cops). I loved how Scully was always disgusted with the camera people.
I didn’t like most of the ones after Mulder left either. —whereismynotecard
My interest also went down a little when Mulder left but I was able to stick with the show to the very end. I enjoyed the last episode and I am waiting for December 22, 2012 to see the alien colonization.
X-Cops was funny. And I have also seen all of the episodes, but I think everyone agrees that when Mulder left the show was not as good. I am still ashamed of David Duchovny.
I am a admitted X-files junkie!! But, like many of you all have said, after David left, it just wasn't the same anymore. I did keep watching to the end, but it just wasn't the same. I watch the re-runs now as long as they are from 90's-2000 or so when things went down. Any Ghost Hunter fans out there? Got into that show also.
It’s nice to see that there are few stations out there that still air reruns of the series. I eventually want to have every season on DVD. Unfortunately they are so expensive and there are a lot of them to collect. As of right now I only have season 3.
