I think almost all his american films were quite good. Face/Off being his best. Blackjack being his least enjoyable. His American films have lacked emotional intensity and he has been pigeon-holded (no pun intended) into making action/war films. He should do romantic films. That's what he likes best anyways.

John Woo was never good in America apart from Face/Off. I love his HK films though. By far and away some of the best action movies ever made and some greatest movies of all time. He is also the best action director that has ever lived.
